They promise alot; deliver nothingAfter interview w/ recruiter Tim Hoving could never reach him--all no emails/phone calls returnedThey are a waste of time. The positive reviews on this site were probably submitted by Smelling personnel.Basically, Smelling sucks.
This place is so unprofessional. Their staff is rude and they never answer their phones. There are others staffing agencies who treat employees way better.
Not good! Had an appt for interview (Cedar Springs) branch, drive 18 miles and im thinking its a factory and i told her this when i walked in and she says to me its an employment agency and all of our jobs are temp to perm. then i said why would i leave a full time job making $26.00 for temp to perm she said well some of our jobs are direct hire.. i said ok thats how i got this job was though Express personal and she said well good luck with that.. Really! so i drove all the way out there for that i work 2nd shift i should have sleep longer but i got up for this interview.. very rude i though wasted my time and money
Good people that work there but need to get their things together. Been sent to a job w/o then notifying employer so sat 4 hours in a parking lot calling Workbox with no return call til the next day. Not been notified that my job has ended.Been called in for a job then as I get there told the position is filled. So, no longer going thru Workbox.
I found Jennifer to be less than friendly at times. The employer she sent me to was nicer to me than she was. Other than that, they did find me a job, but the wait time to get hired in should never be longer than 90 days if you prove yourself.
I have an excellent work history and have never had a job for less than 8 years. Staffing Inc offered me a "full time" job 40 hours plus. I was told I would be starting in two weeks and to give my employer of 8 years my two week notice. I was called the Friday before and told, "Oh, the parts you were supposed to work on didn't come in so you won't have a job on Monday". REALLY? Thank God I didn't give my two weeks. I had set up vacation time to cover just in case. My boss was very understanding and said he didn't want to lose me so it was good for him. I couldn't believe them! They were putting me in a part time maybe job!!!! Never ever will I go to them. I'm better finding a job on my own! Buyer beware!
i know a few people that came in there and had no work experience and got a job and another person that haven't worked in a year and got a job... but some other people i know tried to get a job and at first they told them a year of work is required and then they told someone else i knew 6 months of work....people that want a job and want to work and are willing to learn and work hard should get a job...i guest you treat people different...
EmploymentGroup staffs mostly light industrial and janitorial positions. The people that work there show that they care about you and finding a job that is going to be a great fit. Local company and they care about people, that's a great combination. A new job starts by applying online at www.employmentgroup.com.
I would not recommend this place at all. Every time my boyfriend and I have gone into specialized there's a whole new group of employees working there. They seem to put no effort towards their clients! If they can't even keep there own employees hired how do they expect to do it for their clients! More then once we've had them lose our checks, direct deposit to the wrong account, lose my tax info twice (wondered where they went) sent me out to bogus jobs that sent me home a hour after i got there, lost my drug test and tried making me do another one (wouldn't be so bad if I personally didn't have pay $30 each time for the stupid things!) and the rest of the time when you call they only have one job, if any available, that's bull and jerks you around. I've found their staff to be rude and unprofessional. Defiantly understand why their called specialized staffing...Special isn't even the half of it! One star is too many!!!!
No jobs, except occ. sales--waste of time
