Literally the worst hair appointment ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I tried to handle this bad experience with grace and work with owner, but in the end he lied and went back on his promise to refund me my money. It took him almost 5 hours to color my hair (what was supposed to be a touch-up). He ruined my hair, it is yellow and spotty in several places...I look like a cheetah. And everyone that has seen my hair agrees that something went wrong. His excuse is that my hair was damaged and he should not have even tried to color it...really?!?! I use salon products and have NEVER had anyone comment that my hair is in any kind of despair...in fact the parts that he colored were my natural root and that is where he dyed it yellow. Unfortunately in a world where customer service is so critical and so important, this salon has failed miserably. I contacted him a couple of days later and he promised to reimburse me...when I called he changed his story and stated that he would only offer me less than half of what I paid. So...apparently he charges $100+ for a trim that literally took 10 minutes. I am beyond disappointed with the service I received and the dishonesty of the owner. It's one thing to give a bad hair experience, but it's another to be dishonest and go back on your promise. I asked him for an itemized receipt and he made up something on a piece of paper...he couldn't even reproduce the receipt and claimed he gave me a $30 treatment discount when it was the $30 tip I left him...what a scam. Like I said, do not go here. I had to schedule another hair appointment to fix his mess. Don't waste your time or your money going to Phases Salon. I could go on about all of the things that went wrong that day, but the only thing I wish he had done is apologize and give me my refund since I now have to spend more money trying to fix my hair.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Do not waste your money. There are many other nicer, better salons with staff and owners that actually appreciate their customers. I experienced the most unprofessional owner that I have ever encountered in a business. We had a bridal party and, unfortunately, were 30 minutes late due to a ride error. We realized that this wasn't ideal and apologized. When we arrived, the owner proceeded to berate and lecture the bride to the point of causing the bride to break down in tears. Instead of apologizing, the owner launched into her tirade a second time when the bride was explaining to her wedding planner why she was crying. As the wedding planner and maid of honor politely asked the owner to please stop with her lecture and to just perform the services she and her staff were being paid to perform, the owner got even more argumentative, arguing with multiple people at once who were simply asking her to act professional and do her job. To make matters worse, the owner of the salon allowed her very young, very unprofessional receptionist to argue and yell at the bride, the wedding planner, and the bridesmaids. The owner was so "flustered" that she didn't know if she could continue on with completing hair and makeup for the bride, claiming that she is an "artist" and that this type of disruption was overwhelming and frustrating to her. SHE WAS SO UPSET THAT SHE HAD TO TAKe A 15 MIN BREAK, leaving the bride crying in her chair with wet hair. REALLY??? You are a business owner claiming to be a professional who works on brides and bridal parties "all the time" yet get so unraveled by a 30 minute delay that you resort to yelling at and berating your PAYING CUSTOMERS to the point of tears? This place is an absolute joke and I feel sorry for the stylists working there. Time for some real professionals to step in and run this salon.
I have been a client here for over 5 years. Then to hear from an out of town aquaintence Hotel Venus and my stylist had gone out of business was sorely disappointing. I no longer rave their reviews.
I use to go to this salon, but, no more. I found some of the people there to be so snooty and unprofessional. How would you like one of the stylists to call you at your home and rip you a new one? Why ,you might ask. She said it was because I didn't like the head massages and I was never happy with my hair. So why would I go back if I was never happy? I think that would be the preferance of each per customer. To call me at my home and ream me out and tell me I am not welcome there , is highly unprofessional. They can have their snooty little clicky place. I'm into treating people with care and dignity. The last time I was there, the stylist cut my almost bob,which I was gowing out, into a too short, choppy pixie type. Not even cut right or cute. Took me 5 months to regrow. Well, I finally found the stylist I loved , that left there , because if the same treatment from them.So Jeffery Richard salon. The last laugh is on you and I'm going to spread the word about your unprofessionalism.
Sarah the present hair stylist was very pleasant and did and exceptionally great job styling my hair last week. She is a great conversationalist and she was friendly. Now if Vince were to take a day off, I feel that Sarah can do just as well of a job as Vince! GREAT JOB having Sarah working for you, Vince. OH and THANKS for a great haircut Sarah!

This is the only place I have gotten my hair done for over 20 years!!! I am always SO happy with my hair. I change my color frequently from dark to light, light to dark - and they know just the trick to keep my hair healthy, shiny, and strong. Love The Look!
I just walked into an empty barbershop at 9:26 in the morning and got told it will be a 45 minute wait. I'm even in uniform. Well needless to say I will never be venturing back to a Jude's barber shop.
