We bought two cars from Champ (Andrew Inbody) at West Michigan Auto Group. Worst car buying experience. We bought two cars from him. We were told they were in pristine mechanical condition. I had the urge to have my mechanic look at them. Andrew used that relationship to earn my trust claiming to know my mechanic so well. I bought the car and then took it in for inspection and they found a leaky radiator, bad u-joint needed a new driveshaft, alignment was off, alternator was bad, rear brakes were almost gone, air conditioner didn't work, only kicked out heat. it was 30 degrees when we test drove so didn't notice that. My first ask was "would you take the car back" No, can you meet me half way on some of the repairs? No. I never leave reviews like this but my daughters car... same thing. Massive repairs after Andrew claiming he does all the work for you prior to sale. We spoke with Andrew about both these cars and he refused to help in any way. Our repairs on one car were $1,800 and waiting on the quote from the other car. We gave him ever opportunity to help in any way. I hope I don't regret leaving this review. It's exactly as it happened. My apologies to the sales reps and customers in the office who heard our conversation trying to come to some sort of fair agreement. Both Andrew and I conducted ourselves well but the only thing he kept offering is an aftermarket ujoint for $15. How does that help me?
