I will begin this review with Dr. Campbell. Dr. Campbell is a great doctor and shows sincere concern for his patients. His medical staff & assistants are also very impressive with great bedside manor and responding to urgent matters quickly. That being said, the front office staff including receptionist, office manager, and billing have declined in patient relations over the past 6 months. The level of patient service and respect offered by the administrative and billing staff is disheartening and disgusting. I have witnessed a drastic change in attitude over the past several months. in fact, I have referred friends to dr campbell in the past and those friends as well have conveyed the same message to me. I am at the point where I can very easily leave and find another provider with better service.yes this would be rather sad because I have developed a relationship with my doctor over the years that I have seen him but I will not allow the level of bias (I.e. favoritism and blatant disregard) that I have witnessed over the past 6 months.my suggestion is for dr campbell to realize and understand the level of treatment his patients receive when they are in the waiting room or being checked in. additionally to make matters worse, I have heard the receptionist on the phone with a patient discussing their medical history then subsequently gossip about that same call as soon as she hangs up. Obviously this is a violation of HIPPA and patient confidentiality. As I conclude this review, I must reiterate Dr Campbell's medical staff is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the first impression is always from the receptionist or office manager and as we all know, first impressions will either make or break a business.
After stopping to nose piece replaced, the tech told me she had accidentally scratched my lens (rather severely) she then told me that they (rx optical) would at no cost to me, make new lenses, to which I was amazed and patient. After several calls and miss steps it turned out the they (RX optical) could not grind my high index lenses as thin as the bargain priced store I went to for them. They offered to try again with a different material, and more time passed. I finally received my call they could not (or would not) grind replacement lenses (as they offered) and they did not even attempt the different material (I suspect, because it was more then they wished to pay for their offer) Being left with the question '' what else can I do?'' I told her, and she refused. So by saying ''what can I do for you?'' they was unwilling or unable to do anything else. I was finally offered a ''Discount" on new glasses (is this how they drum up business?, I do not have any idea) in my parting conversation (still being very calm and reasonable) I told the tech to talk to her boss and let me know what kind of credit would they offer, and could it transfer to my son(?) as he (my son) had optical insurance, and when he tried buying glasses there before with his insurance the glasses were still far more expensive than the discount retailer, I THOUGHT AN ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT might make it more viable. Bottom line I never received the call and when I called I was (sadly) not surprised, to find a promise of a vague coupon discount, which leaves me unsurprised and with little hope of anything coming from their big and flowery promises. *They were very polite.
Very approachable surgeon who gives honest advice and does not push you to do procedures you do not need. Example I asked about Botox and I am 28 years old. She explained I do not need Botox at this time because I have minimal if any noticeable wrinkles. Instead surgeons could easily talk me into doing it for the money. I respect that. I also had liposuction by a different plastic surgeon in Grand Rapids and they told me I would be good to go in 3 month. Well I am on month 8 and still have some skin that needs to tighten. I asked Dr. Vagotis her opinion because I was worried and she stated "6 months to 1 year minimum for my skin to be back to mostly normal" that made me feel a lot better about my recovery.
Everyone that I talked to was so nice and beyond helpful with all of my questions. It felt easy to trust them with such a big life decision. Before the surgery, everyone was very informative and comforting. Ultimately Keil Lasik gave me my vision back, something that I thought I lost for sure. I feel free of contacts and glasses, along with the constant need to be cautious about them. Simply being outside in the wind is easier. I can watch movies, take naps, and work better. Thanks so much Dr. Keil! The cost is so worth it. The money, brief burning, and anxiety were so minimal considering the amazing results!
First off, I did not have many choices of doctors who would accept my insurance and after visiting w/dr.mishra she scheduled surgury for me right away and did a WONDERFUL JOB! I needed removal of implants, capsular contraction and new implants put in. My implants were lopsided and due to dr iaccobucci in grand rapids messing up when he removed a ruptured implant 10 years ago. Dr. Mishra made them look GREAT AND I CANT BE HAPPIER. SHE IS VERY SWEET, CARING AND WILL TAKE HER TIME AND DO HER BEST. THANKS DR. MISHRA!
My husband and I have been with Dr. Terrence Wright for over 20 years. He is an exceptional doctor and we consider him a friend. We have never been treated like a number there. He comes into the room, immediately shakes your hand and says "Hi how are you doing", With a smile. Never feel rushed and he listens!!! We have told him, he can never move away or quit while we are alive����. It's a good thing that we are much older.
Gave 2 stars because the Doctors are nice but office nurses and staff are very rude, disfunctional, and unorganized. For a specialist office that deals with heart patients they (staff) clearly have no professional skills or care for their patients. Be prepared for a lot of excuses and if you need prescription refills call 1 week in advance and call every day after your request or you will get nothing!
He came highly recommend i have had 11 previous surgeries and was very scared about this particular hernia repair. I needed mesh and had another doctor tell me that it was a big deal. I almost died on my last surgery. Dr. Gawel had great bedside manor and made me feel positive Had my surgery yesterday and went very well. Thank you and your team. I appreciate it.
I called and they answered no problem. I also got a same day appointment for my daughter with a pediatric eye doctor. She is 8 and has Sensory Processing Disorder. The doctor took all the time she needed and was patient and kind. I would recommend this place to others. And they said her glasses would be ready in a week or so and they were done in 5 days.
PEWM and Dr. Lebaron have been nothing but the best. They are always smiling and happy to see me, and other customers. They have the best customer service and are always willing to help out in any way possible. Dr. Lebaron are his staff have put together an office that is top notch, and continue to get better.
