This shop is super small, music is extremely loud making it difficult to talk with the staff. The staff is not exactly very helpful and very uninterested in helping. Seems they'd rather sit outside with the dog
Clean shop, nice variety and location.
This company has amazing product and customer service. The owner and the manager Chelsea are enough to make you feel great purchasing from this establishment but the product is exceptional as well.
You would think a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs health card with a picture ID would be enough proof of who I am, along with a credit card in the same name, to make a purchase. Lots of places to go, and Admiral is no longer one of them.
Excellent service and very friendly staff. It is a great place to kick back and relax after a days work and not being nagged about the smell of my cigar. As for the previous reveiw, Cory should realize that businesses have a closing time and they also would like to go home to their families. He should have thought to call first, before they closed out their cash register, they possibly would have helped him out by staying open.
I wanted to share with you all the absolute lack of caring and customer service that I just received at the hands of Grand River Cigar. I hurried as quickly as I could, speeding to get there after I got out of work, since a friend of mine just had a baby earlier than expected. I got there with what I thought would be ten minutes to spare, only to be greeted by a locked door that I had to knock on several times to get ANY response from, despite the open sign still being lit and the posted hours still stating that they were open. Upon finally being greeted at the door, I was just told "Sorry, we're closed." I stated that I had come as quickly as I could and that I was just trying to get something as a celebratory present for a friend of mine, to which the lady said "Well, we've already shut down our POS for the night so we don't have any way of tracking what you buy." Because, apparently, pens and paper are a foreign concept, and it's unthinkable that a sale could be entered the next day. Upon pleading that I knew what I was looking for and explaining that I would pay cash, wouldn't even ask for change from the $50 bill in my pocket despite the fact that what I was going to purchase probably wouldn't have exceeded $30, I was still turned away without a thing to show of the trip. If you're in the Grand Rapids area and don't want to endure this utter lack of care for a customer's situation, by all means avoid this place. If I could give them negative stars on here I would.
Best shop in Grand Rapids. No wonder Mystic recommended this place before they shut down. Really affordable glass, nice selection of medium to high end water pipes a really good prices. The best thing though is that I didn't even go for all that, I went to pick up a new disc. I walk in and see probably 500 used discs as well!! SCORE! Mos definitely recommend adding Hyzer's Disc Golf and Smoke Shop to your list of places to go in the Grand Rapids area
