Budget Rent A Car

I wouldn't even give Budget/Avis one star, they suck. My husband use to rent from them all the time with his visa debit card but haven't in a couple of years. I guess that's when they changed some things because now you have to have a major credit card and if not they run a credit check on you but first they take your money and then they deny you and tell you to call customer service to get your refund. That's just stupid. Why would you even take the money and then run the credit check? It should be run the credit check first and then if not approved then no fuss no money loss. So now we have to wait I don't know how long before our refund is put back on our card. This company is horrible.
