I give this company ZERO stars. Watermarks Pools was to install a replacement pool cover that I was told was under warranty. After 2 trips to my house by Scott Albers the owner, I was told it would take 3 weeks to get the new cover in and installed. I requested a phone call each time he came over so I could be home to speak to him personally. I received no such calls. I happened to be home the first visit, and arrived home as they were finishing the installation. About 3 weeks later I received an invoice for $400! I called Scott and he claimed he told me about the charge, but believe me I would have disagreed with his charge BEFORE the work was done if he had. He then tried to explain that he was on the phone for 2 weeks trying to get a new cover because it was not covered under warranty after all, he had to buy it at his cost, and he didn't know how WE do business, but he doesn't work for free! NONE of this was communicated to me at any time during those 3 weeks while I awaited the new cover. As far as I knew the cover was under warranty, and if you've ever had to bring a car in for warranty work, you know that you are not charged. I refused to pay the $400.Two months later the swimming season was over and I had MY pool company winterize. In only 2 months the cover was off 18 inches from one side to the other when fully retracted. (See photo) I called Watermark to have them adjust it because it obviously was not installed correctly. (They accused us of getting something caught in the cover, and explained a cover could be off 18 inches in a 2 month period. I told them that was ridiculous!) They continued to refuse because I hadn't paid their invoice. After another call I updated the people we purchased our home from since they had actually hired Watermark to replace the cover as a condition of our purchase of the home. The previous owner/Watermark's customer went into the store and spoke to Scott. He told Scott that HE would pay the $400. He wanted Watermark to meet him at our house, where he'd have the check in hand, and once the cover was adjusted properly he'd pay right there. Scott refused the money and refused to commit to correcting their faulty work. As of this writing I am still waiting for them to stand behind their service and labor and take responsibility for it AND their total lack of any communication with me. They are threatening to send me to collections. I have a friend that had intended to install a pool this last Summer but didn't, so they will in the Spring. I advised him not to even consider Watermark pools. So he won't.
