Leonard Motel is a family-owned motel founded in the early 1960s. This retro, one-story motel offers budget-priced, basic accommodations, and has a video-rental store onsite. The motel is situated on Highway 17 that runs through the city, it is within walking distance of the local bingo hall, numerous restaurants and other shops. Now offering motel guests two internet accessible computers to use in the front office. Best time to get room in Grafton - Summerfest - Usually is the last weekend of June and lasts three days. Live bands, events at the local park, and lots of sales at local stores. (June 22nd to the 24th) Spirit of the Season - A month long list of events to enjoy throughout the season. (Starts November 25th, 2011 and ends January 8th, 2012) Walsh County Fair - Food, Fun, and People! All events are in Park River, ND, only 17 miles west of Grafton. Usually in October every year. There are also high school sports, hunting areas, curling events, live bands that preform at local bars and event centers, Heritage Days, and so much more in the surrounding communities. Don't forget to reserve rooms ahead of time for upcoming weddings, reunions, and other get-togethers with friends and family! Need a quiet place to stay while attending events in Grand Forks, we're only a hour drive north. It's worth the trip!
