I came here because I needed an oil change. The employees at the shop where very nice. They where professional and where not pushy like other shops I have been to. The waiting area was clean, organized and they had free coffee out of a Kurig machine. Great customer service. I will be back to see them again for my next service!
Ive not had my car service here , after reading some reviews I decided to give it a try. Once I pulled up to the lot I was greated within ten seconds a crew member escorted me to the lounge . I got in and out in 25 mins . They told me it wud be about 30 they seemed busy but got all the cars and mine out really quick just wanted to give these guys credit for their GREAT SERVICE !!!! Im defenitly coming here from now on I highly recomend this place. If you want great service and waiting time.

I came here after finding two 50% off coupons (one yellow, one white) for an oil change in a UCSB student coupon book.
The first thing they asked was, ""Do you have the white paper (coupon) that goes with the yellow one? This coupon isn't valid by itself."" That's funny, because neither of the COUPONS in the COUPON BOOK say they're not coupons.
They decided to honor the coupon when they realized I was not about to shell out more money than I expected just to avoid the hassle of finding a more straight-forward business.
However, they also told me I need about $300 worth of more routine maintenance--most of which I've taken care of recently, so it's not an issue. They still pushed for me to spend more money, including dismissing the oil recommended by my car's manufacturer as being inadequate. Come on--It's oil. Yeah, the more expensive stuff is better, but your car will run fine without the spa treatment.
Bottom line: The staff's pleasantness is worth remarking on, but unless you're comfortable with asserting yourself to nice mechanics when they tell you the sky may fall without X, Y and Z, I would go elsewhere.

I was glad when I heard they would recycle my old oil from the oil change I just did myself.
As I walked up to the shop, I thought ""This seems like a good enough place. Why don't I just let these guys do my next oil change?""
I brought in 5 oil bottles; 4 were really full. The guy said he could take the oil only, not the bottles or filter. I thought ""bummer,but well, OK"".
As he poured out the oil, he was unable to judge the fullness of the bottles, and spilled oil over the outside of the bottles he would soon be returning to me.
I was handed back 5 messy bottles in a messy plastic bag and told I could not leave it the trash - that is not allowed. The oily bag would have to go into my clean car. Fortunate I had a nice clean box for it.
Lesson: Oil changes are done by people, not commercials. These are not people I want to trust my car with.

Use at your own risk! I have had several bad experiences with this Jiffy Lube. On one vehicle they overtighted the the oil plug so much that it dented the oil pan. On the same vehicle they placed a sticker saying the next oil change was due at 36,000 miles, yet the car has over 64,000 miles on it! The last vehicle I took there, they tried to replace a light bulb, could not get it to work and forgot to put the screws back in holding the lens cover. They also lost my keys for about 20 minutes, while it was raining and the windows were down. Once I finally found the key's - behind their cash register - they all just looked at me and laughed - not one appology.
Never again - I am sticking with dealerships from now on!!!!

This Jiffy Lube is horrible. While I have had several oil changes at other Jiffy Lube, I had never paid close to $110 for once. The person who claimed to be ""manager of the day"" insisted on charging me the ""executive service"" fee because of the particular kind of car I drive. I asked him what does the extra cost include, he said ""parts in Santa Barbara cost more"". I said ""you can't tell me that an oil filter costs $40 (which is how much extra I was paying)."" Then he said ""This is a franchise, do you know what that means? My manager asks me to charge this amount."" ""Does that mean I go to the McDonald's somewhere else and they will charge me $10 for the same burger?"" ""We....we are not McDonalds' but... can you step inside?"" At this point, I asked to talk to the manager, he then told me ""I am the 'manager of the day'"". I would not step inside because I was afraid they will do things funny to my car. I said to him if this is the way they do business, I will never come back again, and guess what? He said ""Then don't!"" and of course I will not and I had filed a complain through BetterBusiness Bureau. It was a total rip off. knbc had caught Jiffy Lube scammers on camera.
