Little Buck Swamp Academy

The teachers and workers have been amazing. My child has been in the 2 and 3 yr old rooms. The owner is the only downside to the place. He is rude and tried to talk down to you when you address an issue instead of working with you. If they could just keep him out of there, and prevent him from parking in and blocking the drop off zone, it would be a better place.

I am beyond DISGUSTED! I had my mother pick my 17month old son from his daycare "Lil Buck Swamp Academy" located on Buck Swamp Rd, in Goldsboro N.C. and when she walked in she found her grandson sitting on the floor in the doorway crying not just pouting but hysterically crying! While one of the daycare attendants (not his original teacher) just sat there. She was not busy with another child, she was clearly just sitting there! A few days before I was contacted and asked to pick my son up because he had bitten a lil girl. And as all parents know that is just one of those things that happen. It is clearly unacceptable behavior but at his age it is something most if not all parents experience. I was unable to leave work at the time so therefor my mother picked him up for me, upon walking in the exact same lady that left my son to cry on the floor (for only God knows how long) was talking negativly about my son to another daycare attendant. I will be removing my son from this daycare as soon as I am able to find him somewhere else to go. Unfortunatly I have to work otherwise my son would not step another foot in that daycare.You trust and pay a good anount of money to have someone watch over and care for the well being of your child. Not to bad mouth him and leave him to cry on the floor. Especially a toddler! What does that say about the type of people they hire to watch over other peoples children. When my mom arrived today to pick him up it was probably 5:15pm a time I am sure alot of parents are arriving to pick up there children. Point being if this is the activity going on at the end of day, then what in the hell is going on mid day! Be aware there is another daycare in Grantham owned and operated by the same indviduals that hired this same iggnorant heartless woman to watch over children.

WORST DAY CARE EVER, especially if you have a 0-12 month old. Besides having high ratios (10:2) , in the infant room, the staff are not very friendly. They do not pick up or play with infants. They never use bibs and always leave my childs shirt saturated with milk .
