The DRAWINGBOARD, ARCHITECTS, is a full services architectural firm, located at 818 Colorado Avenue, in downtown Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Drawingboard has been providing uncompromised architectural services for clients in the Roaring Fork valley for over 39 years. The Drawingboard was established in 1976 by principal Robert Classen. Mr. Classen is a 1974 graduate of the University of Colorado and has a degree in Environmental Design and is a licensed Colorado architect. Mr. Classen is a longstanding member of NCARB. Mr. Classen has served on numerous Design Review Boards and is currently acting in that capacity for three subdivisions. The Drawingboard has provided architecture and design for over 400 homes and remodel projects. In addition to specializing in custom homes, the Drawingboard has provided architectural services for commercial projects such as the new Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Roaring Fork Valley Coop, Berthod Chrysler/Dodge, Bighorn Toyota, New Hope Church, Ross and numerous other projects and office buildings. The Drawingboard has been the architect of choice for many townhomes, motels, churches, office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, car dealerships and commercial remodel projects in the area. The Drawingboard is a long established architectural firm and is pleased to offer very personal and professional service to anyone who has a dream of owning a quality home or commercial building, painstakenly designed to compliment the site, be environmentally friendly and provide a timeless living and working environment which meets the desires and intent of those who occupy the space.
