I am a home remodeling contractor. On Labor day I made a purchase of over $8,000 in kitchen appliances and arranged for delivery 4 weeks later. On the day of delivery I was informed that the range was not on the truck and was back ordered for two weeks. We waited and two weeks later received a call confirming delivery for the following day. That day, with my subs at the ready, I received a call letting me know the range was not on the truck and was STILL on back order. After threatening to cancel the order, Mr. Gerhard promised to have a replacement range delivered Monday morning and that there would be a $900 credit to my credit card to cover the lower price of the range and cost of subs. More than two weeks later I still have not been issued that credit and Mr. Gerhard has not responded to my numerous calls and visits to the store to settle this account. I am forced now to fight this through my credit card company.
If this is the way this store treats a professional customer who has brought in thousands of dollars of business, consider how the typical homeowner making what may be a one time purchase will be treated.

I will never buy from this company again. I bought an expensive washer and Gerhard's either installed it incorrectly or they sold me a completely defective product. My whole first floor stinks from the smell of the moldy, stagnant water stuck in the washer. I have made repeated calls and complaints to Gerhard's, only to be ignored and told that there is nothing they can do. They have refused to replace or refund the washer. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the aggravation.

I don't know where to start, this place has so much nice things to say about this store. Their salespeople are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Not only were they very willing to help me out, they even offered me a rebate and told me step by step how to fill it out and even highlighted the important because rebates tend to confuse the heck out of me. Thanks Gerhard's. Definitely will be coming back in the future.
