Ahtna is one of several Alaska Native Regional Corporations established by Congress under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. The company operates through several subsidiaries. Its subsidiaries provide facilities maintenance, construction, integrated logistics support, civil services, structural services, environmental services, fiberoptic services, operations and maintenance, information management, marine services, natural resource services and tourism services. The company provides services to numerous federal agencies, as well as to customers in the private sector. It has operations nationwide and maintains project offices in more than five states. Collectively, Ahtna and its subsidiaries employ more than 800 people. The company is headquartered in Glennallen, Alaska.
