I have been buying and, occasionally, selling guns through Gunslingers for close to fifteen years. I have found the owner to be polite and helpful -- More than once he tracked down a particular rifle for me. His prices are in line with the other gun stores in the area -- sometimes a few dollars less, sometimes a few more. When I sell a gun at auction or on consignment, he has always gotten me a good price and his commission is in line with rest of the industry. All told it is a good place to buy a gun.
This place is a joke. I took an old rifle I found in my dad's garage to see how much they would tell me it is worth. I had already taken it to Bain and Davis in San Gabriel, and after they took their time examining the rifle and looking it up in their book, they gave me a quote of $1,000.00. I walk in this place and the guy looks at it and immediately says $300.00. Ha! They think they can fool me because I am a woman!
