Many times I have limped here with a nail in my tire. When I need to replace a tire(s) they know what they are doing, with sizes and recommendations. They also do alignments and general repairs to my Tahoe when it's up on the rack. Easy to talk to, easy to trust, which is getting rarer these days. Thanks guys.

I agree with Chuck (the previous reviewer). While the owners of Montrose Tires are very personable, their follow through is completely lacking. I bought two of the top tires recommended to me by Dave, one of the owners. 5 months later my tire suddenly goes flat. I take it to them, and Dave is wonderful- shows me the spot that killed my tire, and calls the manufacturer to see if it was still under warrantee. Good news/ Bad News- still under warrantee but it'll take 2-3 months to replace. Dave is great and gives me a good temporary spare I could drive on til it's replaced. 

Cut to 3 Months Later- I get an 'Oh my Mom does the paper work and calling with our companies. Let me check with her, I'll call you back.' Takes my Name and Number.

6 Months- Dave Takes my Name & Number AGAIN. Swearing that the tire's probably in the shop but his Mom hasn't called me.

8 Months- Talk to Mom, says she will call me back and find out where my tire is. Takes down the tire name/size/ & my information AGAIN.

Now 10 months later- Mom says that the company denied it but somehow she doesn't know what tire, car make and model, or incident I'm talking about. Add to the fact that the Paperwork is nowhere to be found. So how she knows it was denied is beyond me. It's ten months later and they have no clue what's going on with my tire. And if they've waited this long to do anything about it, my tire is now a lost cause.

I worked for a small business in Montrose for almost ten years. I am adamant about supporting Montrose's small businesses. I've gone to Montrose Motors, for example, for over 6 years. Love them! I buy and order my books from 'Once Upon a Time.' But unfortunately I will never again patron Montrose Tires, nor will I ever recommend them.

Nice people, but not a whole lot of initiative.



Dave, who I believe is the owner, is a very nice person to your face. - No complaints at all. However, my request required a little more than slapping tires that he had in stock on to my 2007 Yaris. Instead, what I needed was a stock rim to replace the bent one.



I drove the car to his shop on Friday so he could get the exact measurements. He found two, and after some time on the phone he presented me with two options. A stock pull off, or, a new fakie. - I went for the stock pull off.



6 days later, I called Dave to follow up on the rim because I really need my car this weekend, and... Nothing.



To their credit, they didn't wholeheartedly forget about me, but not having placed the order they couldn't remember anything about the order. - size, type, my name, etc...



I called them at 10:00 in the morning and they assured me I'd hear from them within a half hour. At 1:00 I called back and it sounded as if they had completely forgotten about me. - AGAIN. After some time on hold all they could offer me was a rim one inch larger than the one I have. Hmmm.



The really sad part was that I actually chose these folks thinking I was supporting a small business in my local area. Instead, I'll be off to purchase the same rim from the man at the dealership who says there are dozens of them in the warehouse in LA (12 mi away) and he'll have it tomorrow by morning.



- I'm sure Toyota can use the money... ;(
