I wanted a specific designer wedding dress (Winnie Couture) after calling and visiting several places, most shops had this dress priced from $2000 and up. One place was actually charging $5500 for it. I found the SAME DRESS @ KAROZA DESIGNS for $800!!!!
Plus, the dress they had in stock was too small so they exchanged the one they had in stock for a bigger size ordered straight from the designer's warehouse...FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE!! I WAS SOOO PLEASED WITH THEIR EXTRA EFFORT TO PLEASE THE CLIENT...I WILL ONLY BUY FROM KAROZA even though I LIVE IN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY!

My bridesmaids bought their ""Jim Hjelm"" dresses with Karoza because their prices were significantly lower compared to other places and unfortunately, we highly regret it. Karoza did not communicate to us that the reason the dress was cheaper with them was because they were removing an essential piece of cloth that went underneath the dress (which is what made the dress hang and drape so beautifully in the first place). In addition, the intricate, sweetheart-shaped bodice was so poorly sewn and horribly disfigured - it looked like a 3 year-old had constructed it. We had to find expert seamstresses to try to correct the horrid mess. The material WAS NOT satin-faced taffeta like advertised in the Jim Hjelm brochure & what Karoza had promised - instead it was just a cheap-looking taffeta. 3 of the girls took their dresses to 3 different seamstresses for alterations -- all 3 seamstresses concluded that indeed the material was not satin-faced taffeta & the construction was not professional -- only feeding my own frustration even more! MaryLynn's in Pasadena had given me a sample of the REAL material mailed from the Jim Hjelm studio in NYC and it was not the same as the girls' bridesmaids dresses from Karoza. To top it off, the color was completely off. Yes pretty much everything was wrong. I'm not sure if what they did was make the dresses themselves, sew on a Jim Hjelm tags, and sell it to us cheaper this way, but that is certainly what it felt like. I wouldn't recommend Karoza, if you want peace of mind, go with Mary Lynn's even if it is more expensive! A bride has enough to stress about as it is! It was sadly disappointing - I guess you get what you pay for.

Shopping for a wedding dress at Karoza is a wonderful experience. They have many dress styles in all price ranges and the dressing rooms are huge! The owners and staff are very friendly. They spend time with you and make you feel special. The store has lots of accessories and can even make your veil!

I have known Karo and Roza for many years and have several dresses made, for my wife and girls and never had any problems. The woman before my comments goes around talking trash rather than really admit whos fault it was. I know the story and she is a moron who cannot be satisfied.
Karoza is the best, go see for yourself

The bridal gown process is a big part of getting married and I am so glad I chose to buy mine at Karoza Designs. My dress was competitivley priced. The salon was clean and beautiful. But most of all I loved the owners Karo & Rosa and Sylvia the alterations person. They all helped me pick out earrings, purse etc that would go best with my dress. They always gave me their time and I enjoyed getting to know them. My dress was gorgeous and the alterations perfect. Highly recommended.

This store owner made me wait for months saying she was ordering my dress brand new. When I came to pick it up the dress she tried to sell me was the same one she was using as a sample because it was my size. The dress was damaged and it was to late to order a new gown because my wedding date was to close. Brides do not order your bridal gown here!
