Instead of Glen Oaks Escrow it should be called WE CHARGE THE MOST ESCROW COMPANY. Do not expect return phone calls, do not expect any customer service. Glen Oaks Escrow has a locked in agreement with Wells Fargo Bank and they will not be responsive to Buyers. We purchased a REO from Wells Fargo Bank and this was the worst escrow experience of my life. From the Get Go with an incorrect city (I left 3 messages for correction but no return call, so all papers had the wrong address), don't trust the estimated closing statement because they don't understand interest on new mortgages is paid in errears. Property Report that usually is paid by Seller is paid by Buyer and they will use the most expensive company in town $119.00 vs. $59.00. How's that for customer service? How would you like to pay for something with an incorrect address? I would recommend you tell Wells Fargo to find another company.
