AAR Appliance

Like many of others writing a review, I too was assigned AAR from 1st American. This was our first time using both 1st American and AAR, and it is a nightmare.

It took AAR a week to find a time to just diagnose the problem. Then they lied when ordering the part - they said it would take 2 weeks. When I called to check the progress, the first time they said it would arrive in another week. The 2nd time I called, they had me on hold for 20+ minutes. I called back and they hung up on me.

I used the "claims specialist" from 1st American who got things moving. AAR came and replaced the control panel on the dishwasher. It worked okay for 1 week, then stopped working.

I re-opened the claim with 1st American, they contacted AAR, but once again, they couldn't come out to repair for another 2 weeks. Then, the night before, AAR cancelled the appt.

I asked to speak to a suprvisor, and amazingly no one was around. I was told one would call me back, and of course they never did.

Unfortunately, we don't think to check reviews of companies when they are assigned from a purchased home appliance company because we have a certain level of trust.

Just the fact that 1st American is still using these waste-of-lifes at AAR (some of these reviews are form 2012) tells me that they are scamming people too.

DON'T USE AAR OR FAHW (1ST AMERICAN)!!!!

They will waste your time and money.

Zero stars. Terrible technicians. Broke my oven and didn't try to fix it. Resulted in a six month claim with my ins co before I actually got it resolved . And First American is still using them.

This company should be ashamed of itself.

They have sent three technicians to repair our dishwasher, malfunctioning mid-cycle. They never ran the dishwasher more than 15 minutes. One tech didn't run it at all. They performed two repairs and ultimately told us there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher. It still doesn't work after 3 months of headaches.

To add salt to the wound, they never called me with any of their evaluations or repair plans. I had to follow through each time. The technicians were consistently late and often cancelled.



Bad Customer Service. Incompetent Technicians. Lengthy Delays.
