If you're looking for the very best in Danish inspired baked goods, look no further! Here you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee along with your choice of fresh baked croissoints, marzipan cakes and homemade cookies. PLUS, don't forget to pick up a loaf of bread! They offer a diffrent bread for each day of the week. My favorite goodies are the fruit bars (a dried fruit and nut filled, mollasses dough bar cookie).
This is the restaurant at the Americana I frequent most often. I love their quiches and open-faced sandwiches. Their bread is addictive, and they have a cool menu item for kids that's basically a smattering of bread, cheese, turkey and veggies. Fun for kids to pick and choose, and incredibly healthy. I love their praline spread and assorted jams for the bread basket. Good for breakfast, too.

I absolutely love the red velvet cupcakes from Sprinkles! They are super yummy and moist. Every time I go, I usually end up buying about 4 of them. The staff has been friendly, and considering how popular these cupcakes are, the service is pretty fast. You get an hour for free if you park at the Americana, however if you buy something, you can get your parking ticket validated.
As with many great place in the LA area, this one is hidden in a nondescript strip mall near downtown Glendale. The bakery is focused on middle-eastern varieties including my current favorite, a tasty and versatile Armenian barbari. Prices are refreshingly low-brow, along with great taste, it's a winning combination.
I love this bakeshop, they have the best Ube (purple yam) and Mango cake. This is usually my cake stop for birthday special ocassions especially if your craving for an exotic flavor. This shop also offers lunch/snack combos. Oh, don't forget to order shaved ice (halo-halo) with red beans, ube, flan, jelly.
Great place for a little pastry or treat. It's located in the HK market (korean grocery store) next to the little Bontobagi restaurant. I picked up these custard filled treats (in the shape of little fish) on the way out. Only $3 for a box. Totally worth it and my coworkers loved it.
Looking for a unique birthday cake for my wife, I went here and ordered 15 mini cheesecakes of differing flavors. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the cheesecakes were fresh and delicious. I can't wait to try the remaining myriad flavors.
Since I only want a small taste, I like that they have a lot of mini cupcake options. I also like their ice cream flavors. The line moves pretty quickly, even if it's long, or be more efficient by using their cupcake vending machine!
I have been buying from Berolina Bakery for a very long time now, and the quality is always consistent. I always but the princess cake, which is my mother's favorite and she absolutely loves it.
