I went here twice, one for my senior prom with my friends, and other for my graduation with my grandmother. The first time, they were nice, but not that kind, to me when I was with my group of friends, they did a pretty good job with a decent price BUT when I chose the regular/basic acrylic nails, they kept on downgrading the fact how it's not going to look pretty and etc so that I can get the pink base acrylic(which is more expansive). I refused to get the pink base because I didn't want to spend more money than I already had for prom. I didn't feel good about that and for the rest of the treatment, she rarely talked to me. The second time was when I was done with this place. I went with my grandma for her birthday and my graduation and they weren't making any conversation with the both of us. I felt they were (honestly) a little racist, the other ladies were making conversations with their "white" client but mine and my grandmother's were mute the entire time (I'm not white by the way). My nail lady looked like she didn't even wanted to be there. To add on, she burned and scraped my cuticles and skin with a nail filer! Not one but three fingers, it hurt but I was going to get over it but she kept going and didn't even say sorry until I winced when she put this acid liquid to make the cut better which obviously didn't. They didn't offer a discount, free service, nothing! And at the checkout, I told the owner's husband, I assume, about what happened and even he didn't apologize! I was mad by then. I'm not going back as my experience was troublesome, bad, and painful. I'm not trying to bash this place, but I'm just giving an honest review about what happened and how I truly felt about it.
I was a frequent customer(back fills every two weeks) and love the quality of the nails I get ( when done by the owner).... However when I have gone to other employees I am not satisfied with the quality of nails and the specifications that I make. My nails grow extremely fast and they don't ever push back my cuticles so I have to make sure before I go in to so so myself or I would be paying to come back every other week due to outgrowth. The major issue I have had with the salon is I will call in the afternoon just to verify their closing hours because they always seem to vary. I called today and verified they closed at 7 and would therefore show up at 6:15 my usual time. I walked to the door and it was locked and the owner popped his head out as I walked away and said you come back tomorrow. This is the third time this has happened. In fact once I showed up early at around 4:00 with my friend and asked what the wait time would be for both of us to get a chair and get started on our nails and needed to stick to a schedule because she was only visiting AZ for a few days. They said we both would be getting started in 15 min. My friend started getting her nails done 15 minutes later and after almost an hr of getting her nails done, they finally had a chair for me. Needless to say I declined their service and went to a different salon after her vacation was over. If you want your nails done and don't have any place to be welcome to boutique nails and spa, but if you have things planned that take precedence FORGET about going to this salon.
LOVE this place. When I first moved to this area of the valley I had seen reviews on Tubi Nails about "they try to up-sell you every time; don't go". BUT since I live across the street, it was convenient. I have been going there for 5 years and have NEVER had any attempts at "up-selling". This family owned business is AMAZING - Chi does my nails and Trett, her brother in law, as well as My... they all remember our names when we call / come in. They are AMAZING -- LOVE TUBI NAILS.
Tubi Nails is by far the best place I have been for a great pedicure and to get my nails done. They are friendly and take their time and do an excellent job. Their prices are reasonable and they treat you like family. I would truly recommend Tubi Nails. I have been going there for over a year and met ladies that have been going there for 8 or more years. That speaks for itself. Thanks Tubi Nails for being such a professional and friendly (and affordable) nail salon.
I heard great things about the new owner. I started going there 2 months ago. I have THU do my gel nails, which I love, I get the pedicure and they use the hot rocks which is wonderful, plus for a little extra I sometimes get the paraffin wax on my feet for a little extra moisture. They also do eyebrow waxing and was very happy with that as well. They are all very sweet and welcoming. I would highly recommend!!!
This nail salon is by far the best I have ever gone to. I admit I sometimes get timid when going into a nail salon due to the language barrier, but they really know how to break the ice. I enjoy going there. I really recommend going to this place due to the awesome job they do and the great atmosphere they offer.
I get my nails done by Lisa. I have worn acrylic nails for over 30 years and I must say that Lisa is by far the most meticulous, efficient, thorough and detailed nail technician. My nails never break, chip, crack or lift. Disregard negative reviews, embrace the positive reviews and go to Lisa!
I have gone to Splendid nails for about 18 months. My nails were weak and pathetic. Lisa worked with me for about a year and the last six months my nails are strong and beautiful. Everyone is so nice! I strongly recommend Splendid Nails and Lisa is amazing if she is available!!!!
Desiree is a perfectionist. My nails are always evenly filed and the polish is flawless; something I can't say about most other salons. She uses the best products and most surprising is that my polish survives at least a week even with my rough wear.
The service is professional and personalized and the salon is clean and inviting! It's a warm, and relaxing environment. It's the best place in the west valley to get mani's, pedi's, acrylic's and waxing!
