Too bad I had to give any rating...I think they deserve a half star, if that!! I scheduled an appointment to have my hair done by Angela on Wed. for the following Friday at 9 a.m. When I showed up on Friday at 9 a.m. I saw that Angela was just starting to shampoo another client. I checked in with the one other employee, and told her that I had a 9 a.m. appointment with Angela at which time Angela said "I'll be right with you"....then she continued to jabber on with that client for over 15 minutes. At this point I addressed the issue with her. I made an appointment for 9 o'clock...what gives? She informed me that she has to take the first to come!! I said then "why do you accept appointments?"...that makes no sense... I had to leave because I had other appointments to attend to and had scheduled my time...When you don't respect your customers time, sometimes you lose your customers...I won't go back!

This place would get NEGATIVE stars if that was an option. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance with Jose and when I showed up for my color and cut, he wasn't even there. I didn't get a phone call informing me that he wasn't able to make it and the woman who was working at the salon allowed me to sit there for 20 minutes without even acknowleding my presence. I had called from the parking lot to make sure the place was open because their sign wasn't even on and I told the woman who answered the phone I had a 9am appointment. The woman didn't ask who my appointment was with so I assumed it would be with her because Jose wasn't there. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting I asked her if she was supposed to do my hair or was it the man who I scheduled the appointment with and she replied that she didn't have his appointment book. The WORST customer service from the staff of completely unprofessional people. The sign out front said under new management and ownership, but they had no sense of professional business operations or customer service. I was stood up by the "stylist", ignored by another employee, and had to spend money for a baby sitter to watch my child ALL FOR NOTHING. Using this place actually cost me money and I didn't even get my hair styled or colored. I called the cell phone number for Jose and he didn't even know he missed the appointment and tried to offer me 50% off saying he'd arrive in 20 minutes. I woke up early ON MY BIRTHDAY to get pampered and lined up a baby sitter just to get the worst service and a ruined birthday. BE WARNED - these are not professionals!
I suppose I'm being unfair by rating this location with a single star, but I am so incredibly embarassed. I work hard, every day, as a manager for Burger King and today was the first time in a long time that I was able to afford the time and money for a hair cut. All I wanted was for the woman to trim my bangs, which were blunt and hung too low over my eyes. I told the stylist, Amy, that I wanted them cut straight across and to fade into the rest of my longer bangs and she said, "Okay, sure" and ushered me into her chair. She asked me to take off my glasses and I explained to her that I can't see -at all- without them and she didn't respond. The fear is that I can't see what she is doing to my hair. She cuts them, provides me with permission to replace my glasses and I'm horrified. She cut my bangs while they were wet and tried to play off her mistake by explaining that it usually does that. But I didn't want them that short, I told her just at my eyebrows. Now, I look like freaking Frankenstein with LAYERED bangs. Frankenstein with a front mullet? NOT HOT. I was practically in tears before she was willing to own up to her mistake and offer to cover the haircut fee herself.
BAD SANITATION PRACTICES: had very bad experience. The hair stylist Angela if I remember good, used solied black sheet ( the sheet they cover you so that no hair falls on you) for my hair cut. It was wet - she reused it without cleanong it. After the hair cut when she removed the sheet alll my shirt was with hari !! - This is first time in my life in a hair salon after the hair cut when the cover is removed your shirt is with all the hair! When asked what is this & first time I am having this kind - She dares to tell me the hair is not your's it must be of others - more dirty. This obviosulsy means she just put the same cover sheet what she used earlier without even cleaning off earlier hair. She was taking calls while cutting. No respect for the job they are doing - bad attitude.Gregory or some one like that is owner of this place I believe - if this gentleman can't even give minimum services - forget about friendliness, at least minimum sanitation to the customers - why the hell he must be in business? I will never recommend this place to any of my friends and also Very dirty on their part to do this and leave me with some one's hair - atrocious..
