It pains me to even rate this as 1star....As soon as I entered the store the chef was yelling " el baño no esta funcionando" "no sirve". Mind you not a word was said as I entered the store, this was in the first few seconds of entering the door. So how he "assumed" I was there for the restroom is beyond me! I went in to grab something to eat because it was a long day at work and I didn't feel like cooking! All just for the chef by the name of "Miguel" to assume I was some random person trying to use the restroom. I told Miguel in spanish, I was not concerned about the restroom and if he wouldn't be so quick to assume he would've realized that I was there to place an order to go! Miguel then said to me again that " el bano no esta funcionando". In complete frustration, I proceeded to explain to Miguel that, if would listen then he would understand what the purpose of my visit was. He then stated "que chingados quieres" which basically translates to what the fuck do you want. In a complete utter awe of the outrageous behavior relayed towards me, I requested the name of the chef (which was at first denied to me), along with the name and number of the manager or store owner. After various requests for the information, I was only given the first name of the employee and the manager. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I'm still trying to make sense of this whole ordeal! I know this is a really lengthy review but I think someone who acts this way should not be working in customer service let alone the food industry!
Love the shredded beef tacos
Great food for the price but bad service. You will get waited on once and you won't see them again utill you go up to pay the bill that they don't give you.
Truth be told, my family and I have enjoyed this restaurant since it first opened. We used to dine in frequently and when we moved to 87th Avenue and Union Hills we were elated to learn after a brief conversation with the owner that they would deliver to our home address. As a single mother that is ill and undergoing chemotherapy, on those nights I was actually hungry but severely lacking the energy, Salsa Blanca became our first and favorite option. We would order delivery from them every week... sometimes twice a week during more difficult times. Their prices were fair and the food was decent, but every time I'd call for delivery I would be placed on hold, undoubtedly, for the person on the phone to ask if it was okay to deliver to our address because their cut off is 83rd Avenue. Every time they'd get back on the line and simply say, 'what would you like to order?'... that is until tonight. They are no longer going to delivery to us because they just can't go a few blocks further to deliver to loyal customers. Even after I had explained that we had spoken with the owner about this and have ordered delivery from them about 30 times, we were told that they would no longer deliver to us. It is truly an end to an era because Mexican Food delivery is very rare. We bid you farewell enchiladas and chimis because we won't be dining in if you won't deliver. Why should we go out of our way for you when you won't do the same for your customers? So, we will venture out to Popo's, Valle Luna, Macayo's, Top Shelf, Don Ruben's... and hell, even Taco Bell... Anywhere other than Salsa Blanca where we will be valued as customers. Adios amigos!!!
Service was horrible. We waited for 20 minutes for a waiter to come by and give us the check. Food was great.
Worst food I've ever ate.
I come here at least 7 times a month, and have not yet had a bad experience. They have the best fajitas and also their chips and salsa are amazing!!!
Great service from the employees. The burritos can use a bit more of the appropriate fillings. I recommend the PATRON burrito. Are you craving a chimichanga ? They're GREAT ! Try the PATRON as your chimichanga filling for only a $1 more. Well worth that extra dollar. This is our new location and love the 5512 W GLENDALE location.
This is terrible. My wife and I just ordered margaritas that were a special price for the day, Cinco De Mayo. And when they arrived they were the size of a Dixie cup. Even smaller! The cups were clear plastic, and the salt wouldn't even stick to the edge. The waiter had said that the margaritas price was 4 dollars. That's ridiculous for this size of a margarita. It should've been a dollar. You would think that if you ordered a margarita that was four dollars it would've came in at least a real glass. So after we get our plastic margarita glasses, we ask to speak to the manager. He comes up, and asks what the problem is. We explained our distress and he explained that they weren't going to serve real glasses because it was a safety issue. Everyone around us at other tables had real margarita glasses. The manager then said that he could not comp drinks, just food. So eventually the manager had taken off 50 dollars off of our bill. It was terrible service and we will not be returning there again.
Used to like it, until tonight -- We used to go to this place regularly.. but stopped going for about 4 months. We went back tonight spending good money (Over $27) and were very disappointed with EVERY dish we ordered. The beans used to be fresh, tonight they were obviously canned and cold. The chicken quesadilla had an after taste of cleaning products in it and the chile verde was horribly seasoned. Its obvious their regular cook is no longer there, and the lady that took our order and gave us our food at the window was a rude biaaa... she practically threw the food at us and never said thank you or even smiled. She was obviously having a bad night. She should have stayed home. Its sad but I think we ve had it with this place.. too bad. If anyone knows where the old cook went, we d love to know so that we can take our business there.
