Phoenix Cylinder Head Service

Took a set of Ford v10 Triton cylinder heads to this shop. I paid close to $1600. My son and I installed the heads and the vehicle did not run well. I took the vehicle to a shop where the heads had to be removed and taken to another cylinder head shop for diagnosis. The second cylinder head shop documented that both valves in the #3 cylinder were .0060 too long and had to be machined to proper length. When I called John, I was told that I had to bring the heads to him for diagnosis, even though I told him that the heads were already repaired and going to be installed on the vehicle today. He also told me however, that he would do "nothing" even if I brought the heads to him and he found something wrong. This shop does shoddy work for premium price, with no warranty. A machine shop that doesn't know how to properly machine the very things they specialize in, is a place that people should not do business with, especially when they refuse to be accountable for their shoddy work.
