Kim at Now Who’s the Boss is first-rate at modifying aggression problems, teaching impulse control, and obedience. Even greater than having dogs who listen, she is a master at teaching you to have fun and bond with your dog through sports, like agility and K9 nose works.

When I first went to Kim about my dogs, it was because one of my dogs nearly killed the other. Kim’s response was, “soon enough they’ll be happy together.” I didn’t believe her. I thought I was going to end up the victim of a dog mauling. I didn’t have much hope. She taught me how to gain control through absolute follow through and correction timing. Today, their struggles are a distant memory. They get along great!

Since training together with my dogs in the sport of K9 nose works, we’ve gained a connection I didn’t think was possible. I now feel like my dogs speak English because I can read their body language. I worship my dogs and they worship me, and it’s due to having fun with them.

Kim Baer is a superb trainer, and the only certified Nosework trainer in Phoenix at this time. It's a great new sport. Any dog - young, old or blind can do this. Even if they don't get along great with other dogs. If you're looking for a slower sport besides agility or don't want to compete in the Rally/Obedience ring this is it! Great bonding experience between you and your dog.

The only certified Nosework trainer in the Phoenix Area at this time, and a great one at that! Your going to love this new sport that any dog can do. Whether they are old in their Senior years, or young , blind or don't even get along well with other dogs. It builds their confidence, and you learn to read and understand your dog better. I highly recommend signing up for one of Kim Baer's Nosework classes. She's a fantastic instructor and it's a bonding experience between you and your dog that will last a lifetime.

We just completed the "Forced ...

We just completed the "Forced Retrieve" class with Kim and our K9 Macy loved it. A natural born retriever, she did very well "getting" the items we asked her to pick up. Kim did help us with the initial defiance of commands and we are now looking forward to teaching Macy how to pick up her own toys!

My Wife and I hired Kim when we got our Great Dane Justice. On her first appt. with us to assess Justice she spent over two hours at our home with us. My wife and I new at that point that Kim was the trainer for both my wife and I, 5 kids and Justice. We hired her on the spot! In the weeks to come we boarded Justice at Kims home when we had to go out of town. Her home is perfect for both fun and learning. Kim brought many tools to the table when it came to training Justice and we were pleased with all of them. In the time since Justice has passed and when I notified Kim about this she was extremely supportive for both me and my family. She has an incredible heart and a great way with dogs. I would recommend Kim to anyone who would ask me for a pet trainer! Kurtis Jones P.S. Kim- I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything, you truly went above and beyond anything I could have asked for or imagined. With both hugs and tears thank you again for everything

Kim has assisted my husband & I with training our Russell Terrier Maxie. As a result we have a great pet and close relationship with our now nine month old puppy. I feel Kim made the difference between having a pet and having a family member. I would recommend her to anyone who would feels they would like to improve their bond with their pet or who would just like some guidance and training. She is patient and is a natural animal trainer. Kim has trained my three year old German Shepherd and my one year old Yorkie...she's amazing! More importantly, she has helped me to have confidence in my role as the pack leader. My dogs are happy, obedient and a joy to be around. They especially love doggie day camp at Kim's while I'm at work. I would recommend Kim for any and all dog lovers.

I highly recommend Kim for any kind of problem with your dog. Our dog, Sheba, was not socialized with other dogs, so when she did come in contact with another dog, her play was too aggressive which would escalate and a fight would start. In no time at all, Kim had Sheba socialized and playing nicely with the other dogs. When I came for a visit, Sheba was out with at least 15 dogs and every one of them where on their best behavior. I could not believe it! Sheba was diving in the pool, going after a ball, having the time of her life. Kim also boards at her home and you will get the added bonus of having all the other dogs to socialize and play with. Kim would be my number one choice for training and boarding. It is like home away from home but even better!!! Kim is a miracle worker and we can not thank her enough!

i. Neo Mastiff Owner‎ - Barbara‎ - Kim's ability with dogs is undefinable for me. We took our Neo to her for boot camp training and were amazed at the results. She is proficient, in tuned with the dogs, and precise in her judgments pertaining to them. I would recommend her to anyone wanting the best for they family pets. She is also proficient in search and rescue. You can't do much better than NWTB. e., A local favorite, or highly recommended because

Since mom and dad found Kim, we are different dogs. Chaco and I (Frida) were pretty much not listening to mom and she soon realized that having 2 German Shepherds that 2 years and 1 year were really becoming to be a hand full. We would run around on the terrace of our home in Mexico and bark like lunatics and I would bite mom and Chaco. No matter what mom did, we did not listen. With Kim's help and the help of Dogtra, we are now one very contented family. A month ago we went on vacation with mom and dad in our motorhome to Paso Robles,California and we went into wineries and were soooooooo good. Everywhere we went, people commented on how well behaved we were. So in our book "Kim" is the best. By the way, KIm, Bill and I really appreciate you so much.Chaco, Frida, Beverly and Bill Arrowood

I have a beautiful Australian Cattle dog, named Rusty. He was very aggressive when anyone would come to my door and need to come into the house. I thought he was just mean, and I knew I had to do something. I looked in the yellow pages and found Kim. She came to my house and I immediately knew I had picked the right person. She told me that Rusty was aggressive anxious and not mean. She trained me and Rusty, because as I was trying to calm him down, I was making him more nervous with my actions and voice. Now when someone comes to the door, he goes to the couch (his place) and stays until the visitor comes in. He enjoys going to the group training classes and interacting with the other dogs. I have boarded him with Kim and he comes home happy and tired. Kim is a very special person that loves dogs and she is so patient but firm with them. I recommend her to anyone that wants to have a happy pet and companion.
