Authentic

If you are looking for authentic Woodfire pizza this is it. The calamari is delicious.

Best Italian in Glendale

You know a good restaurant when you feel one. From the moment I waled in to La Piazza Al Forno, I could feel that this was a great place to eat. A large brick oven sits in the center of this place where they cook some of the best pizzas I have ever tasted in all of my years. Goat cheese, sausage, pepperoni....wow, just incredible. Really.

WHAT?

Very good food here. The name is Al Forno, not Al Sorno, as listed in Citysearch.
Saw that they did some minor renovations - much needed in my opinion. Waitress/Host can be tricky. Sometimes they aren't very friendly/efficient.

Great Food! Waitress/hostess seriously lacking!

Lose the old lady. She will drive patrons away. I am amazed at the way my party of 7 was treated.

Hated It!

The lasagna was luke warm, the cheese in the middle wasn't even melted. The pizza was soggy and didn't have hardly any tomato sauce. I was born and raised in an Italian neighborhood in Chicago and I know good Italian cooking. This aint it! Don't waste your time and money on this place.

Great Pizza!!!

Simply the best pizza, the "Italian Stallion" was a melt in your mouth experience of flavors; we also had the Linquine and Clam sauce, and i have to say it was right up there with the best we have ever had from even the "fancy, high cost" places. Small and cozy, there is a at home feel and the service was well above average...we will be returning as often as we can!
