Country Creek Apartments

Since the day we moved in to this apartment (Jan 2012), there have been issues. When they did the initial inspection, they noted that there were cockroaches on the kitchen counter and floor, but they explained to us that they had just sprayed and it was from that. Needless to say, we haven't been able to get rid of them. They bug bombed the place, sprayed it, and it did absolutely nothing. They have a major roach problem. There is always an issue with noise as well. The walls are so incredibly thin, that we can hear WHICH songs the upstairs neighbors play. The construction of the apartment is not up to par either. We have to shove our way through the front door because it always gets stuck. The cabinets and the ONE drawer are also shoddily made. Went to open the drawer for the first time when we moved in and it nearly fell apart in my hands. The air conditioning unit resembles one that would be in a hotel/motel. It does not do a good job at distributing the AC, which is pretty imperative when in the AZ summers. To get the room to livable temperatures, you have to have it on all day, which is very expensive. Also, on three different websites it says in capital letters that there is no pet rent. Guess what they charge? Pet rent! When confronted about this, they dodge the question entirely. The apartments are also swarmed with cats.

not a bad place i enjoyed living there. Just wish there werent so many stray cats spraying into the air conditioners.
