Applebee's

We really like Applebees, especially the two for $25 Bourbon chicken and shrimp. However, the side of potatoes has been changed. Instead of small pieces of potato, it is now several large chunks, which would be fine, except they were rock-hard. We brought it to the waitress's attention, she put in an order for another side of potatoes, which were as hard as the first. It is obvious that the potatoes are not being cooked thouroughly, which means that they need to change the method of cooking, go back to the other size or change the side altogether. Very disappointing. The rest of the dish is excellent, and I would hate to not be able to order it again, but the potatoes are enough of a problem to avoid it.

We visited this Applebee's even after finding a single review which was negative. Thank goodness we did not take the review seriously. If we had taken it seriously we would have missed out on excellent service, wonderful food and an all around good time. The waiter we has was very attentive yet gave us our space. The entire experience was wonderful. I spoke to the manager as we were leaving and told him how much we enjoyed our visit. Thanks again to the waiters, cooks and all who made this a wonderful ending to a wonderful day.
