I've been working on a simple VA refinance since 04/20/09. going to close in June, about 7 days before the end of June I received a call that my wife needed to sign the papers, she did and was faxed back the same day, about 3 days later received call that we missed the window for closing in June. We were then set to close by the 10 Jul. a few days later I received call that the processor was backed up. a few days later I received call that the locked in rate wasn't locked in so it was going up. I said to proceed. About the 22nd of Jul I received call that Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgage co was not funded anymore for July. I called it quits then. These people drag you along until the rates go up then continue to stall. Don't do business with them !
