Very disappointing. Waitress asked if we wanted our salads with my daughter's crab soup. We said sure. While we were eating our salad the fried seafood combo was delivered. The waitress asked if it was ok to serve it and I responded I guess we don't have a choice. She said they can take it back to the kitchen I told them no. Salads with blue cheese dessing were good. My daughter's crab soup was good but was not hot so after eatging about a 1/3 of it, it no longer tasted as good. Bread was good. Fried seafood was forgettable. Shrimp was tough, scalloips overcooked, and the crab cake was the most disappointing as we loked forward to this being the highlight of our meal. Service was not up to par. When our waitress processed the credit card there was a 17% tip added. I guess when the service isn't what it should be this establishment does not want the guests to be able to use their discretion as to what tip to leave. Told my concerns to owner and he thanked me .Do not waste your time or money at this place, I'm sure there are much better seafood restauraunts in the Baltimore area.

It was terrible the baked potato was over cooked and cold. How can you mess that up? The main course was tasteless and you could not eat any stuffing without a bunch of shells in your mouth and you could tell all of it had been frozen and had bleach in it. The only thing eatable was the salad. OH and after dinner coffee was 10 hours minimum old and I guess the are not use to serving it because they did not have CREAM,just whole milk. By the way the date was bad also.

We were referred to this place by the hotel concierge who said it's a Baltimore mainstay. The only thing remotely edible that was brought to our table was the special lump crab cake, but I'm still picking cartilage from my teeth. The salad, which I requested with dressing on the side, was drowned in dressing. The crab cream soup was congealed, bland and also featured mounds of cartilage. The filet was broiled and the b

The Decor: The place definitely needs a facelift. The upper dining area is out-dated, dark and has that old carpet/decor smell. It is not terrible, though. The lower area, which I saw on the way to the bathrooms, was rather plain and uninviting.
The Service: Rather topnotch. Our waiter was on his game and attended to us quickly and efficiently. He serviced our table quickly, clearing used dishes and such.
The Food: On the one hand I asked my scallops to be prepared in a certain way to avoid excess fat from butter and such and the kitchen staff obliged my. But then the scallops were rather unseasoned after that. I guess butter is the only flavoring for this particular item. The salad was fresh and crispy though, as usual, mainly lettuce with a bit tomato and carrot here and there, plus two large slices of cucumber. The crab soup was not what I am use to as ""Maryland Crab Soup."" It was rather heavily ""tomato-fied"" and I didn't detect the Old Bay. It didn't taste bad, but was not what I expected. The bread served with the meal is just your standard rolls served with butter pats on the side. My wife had the crab cakes. There are big and are enough for two. The flavor was average. You will probably like them, but won't write home to mom about them. They are, in one aspect, a little better than those restaurants that offer crab cakes that are a bit overladen with mayo. These didn't have a lot of extra ""stuff"" oozing around.
The Menu: Just to much stuff. I feel, like Chef Robert Irvine on Food Network, that a restaurant should focus on few items and make them well ... very well. It is hard to have so many items and make them ALL as best as they can be. It just overwhelms the kitchen staff and leads to having items that are from boxes and cans.
Overall: Ok. I'd eat there again just to try something different and give it a second chance.

My women's group and I attend different places once a month and we chose Mo's Seafood Factory for this monrth's outing. This place was horrible. The service was worst than a fast food restaurant. The bathrooms were as nasty and unclean as the bathrooms at a public park. The manager was worst than the server that was assigned to the table. The food preparation left something to be desired.
Members of my group as they trickled in were told to go find the group that they were looking for and that was when there was someone at the desk. Our server when she did come to the table often did not have anything we ordered or did not acknowledge that we were ordering food cook a certain way.
We have been to some horrible places before but this place is at the top of the list. As the representative from my group I plan to call the corporate offices of this franchise because no one should be subjected to this type of service,
The period to this experience was the mandatory 17% tip added on to the check. The BBB will be notified.

I was dissappointed with the service. I ordered a appeitizer and needed it to be recooked. When the plate was returned it had already chewed up food that was sent back on returned plate. I thought that was repulsive. I also didnt like the fact that the tip is automatically include in your bill. For those two reasons the chances of me revisiting this restaurant is very slim. However the taste of the food was wonderful.

Food was good, on par with other seafood restaurants found in the same area. Service was adequate although for an early dinner, ~ 5 pm on a Monday it did seem a bit slow. The childrens menu item that was ordered for a 6 year old was much to large for child size portion. It's a good deal for the size of the serving but when it's a child that is eating it alot of the food goes to waste. Was not pleased to see tip automatically added on to a check for party of 4 that consisted of 2 adults and 2 children. For this last reason I will probably not return.
