My fiancee and I have toured numerous wedding venues, trying to find the perfect place for our wedding next November. We were about to settle for a venue when we received a phone call from the wonderful staff of Bleues on the Water. We went down to check out the new site, and WOW! We usually try to keep an objective mindset every visit and talk about the pros and cons--this is the first time ever we could find no cons! We walked out, and both agreed right away that this was the perfect place to commemorate our special day! There are so many wonderful things about this venue I don't know where to begin! The gated entry was so nice, it gave it a feel of seclusion. It's far off the road, but not far enough that you loose cell phone signal. We were greeted and escorted on our tour by Mindy, Jill, and the owner/ founder himself! I think the best part of this venue may be the customer service. After touring so many venues with staff who give the impression that they are just there for a pay check, this is so refreshing! The ball room is INCREDIBLE! They really pull out all the bells and whistles with the decor packages/staging, and did I mention that it comes with uplighting?! Not to forget, an amazing amount of food, deserts, bar options, a wedding cake, AND multiple out door sites for a ceremony! I can't believe that we were about to settle for a venue that could not even come close to comparing! I am so happy and grateful that we found an affordable, elegant location for our wedding!
I tried their chicken parm lite, which included piece of grilled chicken w/ sauce and lite cheese. Instead of pasta, it came with a tasty salad.
Has to be one of the worst lunch experiences ever. arrived just before 2pm on oct 20th for a quick lunch and a beer, the bar tender adviced us that the fryer was not ready yet and it would be 20 minutes,ON game day your not ready at 2 pm!!!!! we adviced her that we had to be in landsdown no later then 3 so we would just order quick food, we ordered a double order of shrimp, a shrimp salad on lettuce and a hot roast beef sandwich, 25 minutes later at 2:25 we had no food yet,Duh shrimp salad and hot roast beef??? we reminder her that we were short on time and at 2:30 we received the shrimp, at WHICH TIME WE TOLD HER AGAIN WE HAD TO GO, AT 2:35 STILL NO FOOD, at 2:40 we cancelled our lunch and she tried to get us to take it to go, If I wanted to eat in the car I would have went to Wendys, We didn't even have time to eat all the shrimp and onions and that is a shame as the onions we did eat were really good
