BEWARE!! They charge an extra $1/gallon over current local prices. Also, if you use a Fuel Rewards card, you have to go inside the store to get credit as it will NOT work at the pump. Avoid this place!!
I have always had a good experience getting gas from this station-until yesterday late afternoon 4/23/12. For anyone out there who put gas in their car yesterday (specifically 87 unleaded) at this gas station & is now having issues, definitely tell the gas station & have a mechanic look at your car. More than likely you not only pumped gas into the car but WATER as well. We put 87 unleaded gas into BOTH of our vehicles (a small truck & a small car) both of which started to have issues directly afterwards. I had filled the car up completely, as it was on E when I pulled into the station. I ended up having it towed from the station directly to a mechanic because it started shaking & would not drive. Thankfully we had only put about $17 worth of gas into the small truck & once we made the correlation as to what was going on, we were able to address the issue by putting a water remover into the tank. Unfortunately the small car was not as fortunate due to the fact that it had been completely filled, and it is now at the mechanic’s and not working AT ALL. We brought this concern to the attention of two different gentlemen who manage the East Coast gas station, and it was not given the importance it should have been. In fact we were told quote “I believe that you have water in your tanks, but you didn’t get it here” which of course does not make sense if both vehicles were in use during the day in completely different regions of Richmond & neither had an issue until “surprise!” we put East Coast’s gas into their tanks. Don't fill up here-it's not worth the potential harm to your vehicle!
