I can't even give this facility one star but the program doesn't allow me to submit without at least one! Trash is abundant, littered literally everywhere! The barn is in disrepair and before anyone thinks I have an elitist opinion on facilities, I don't. The barn appears to be a dug out old chicken house so the ceilings are barely high enough for a small pony, the place was soggy and wreaked of ammonia when I went to visit as it obvioulsy floods from being below ground level (not to mention it looks as if there are hundreds of nails just driven into the roof. Exposed nails and lightbulbs are everywhere, broken boards, broken stall guards and twisted metal pieces, how they don't have daily injuries I have no idea. Horses appear underweight, there were numerous buckets that were filthy and/or had no water, and stalls were FILTHY. There is nothing but dirt or weeds in the paddocks with overcrowding everywhere, it had obviously recently rained on the grain they were actually feeding while I was there and I was told the wheelbarrow had been left out from the morning feeding. No wonder the horses looked underweight...I wouldn't want to eat wet and moldy feed either. Cinderblocks were actually exposed in the sand in the riding ring and I was told it was the old foundation of a building. Really?! You canter and jump horses on top of an old building foundation?! Horses appeared to have numerous scars from old wounds to legs, rumps, etc from cuts/scrapes and bites....understandable looking at the downed fence boards attempting to be held up by bailing twine and paddocks with no grass where the horses obvioulsy fight for food. Pasture board horses were litteraly standing in feet of water to be fed on the fence line and were eating the grain that fell from their buckets in the water/mud. NO place for any horse or rider....I feel so sorry for the sweet horses that have obviously had to endure.
