We didn't have the best of luck here. We dropped an older, but factory stock, RUNNING stand up jetski off specifically for a simple carb rebuild. Despite being told it would be 2 maybe 3 weeks to get to it, we got a call on week 5 that he couldn't keep it running after draining fuel and cleaning carb. I explained it didn't need cleaned, it needed new seals and diaphragm kit in it. That's why we took it in!! Another 2 weeks to order parts he should have ordered at the start, another week of back and forth via email where I had to show him how the carb goes back together, and he finally called to say the ski didn't have spark now. He had our ski for nearly 8 weeks total and we picked it up. We brought the ski home, reset the screws and got it running, admittedly with weak spark, but something was clearly off. I checked compression again, and it was 70psi in one cylinder, and 100psi in the other. Down from the 110psi when I took it in. I suspect he ran it leaned out or on ether while trying to "tune it" (needed a diaphragm right?) and now it needs a top end kit. Our ride-able running ski --> rebuild. Save yourself the troubles and do it yourself or take it somewhere else. We lost half a summer using this place. This $125 loss explains why we see things sit there week after week after week.
