I should have done some research. We just wanted a couple pergolas built beside our pool, but they sold us to complete the whole back yard. They assured us that permits were not required for any of the projects. Unfortunately, we had complaints and had to deal with HOA. Turns out permits are required for one of the pergola and the gas lines to the bbq and fire pit. Even after telling them, they continued to claim otherwise, to the point where they said the City inspector told them it is not required. Luckily I went to the Planning Department and spoke to the same agents they apparently spoke to in order to get the truth. Now we will have to hire another contractor to do any repairs required to get post construction inspection completed for the permits. Aside from the lies, their workmanship was terrible, the pergola columns are not straight, travertine pavers don't match our existing deck, firepit cut is not circular, the list goes on, and their CR21 type license prohibits building bbq

The company does great work, however they do not complete the job hired for. Trying to get ahold of them is like pulling teeth. No one has called us back or completed the job we paid them for at all.

Stay away from this company. Worst service and lack of business ethics

I used Mesquite back in June of 2012 and they were wonderful. Showed up everyday as scheduled and completed my backyard as promised on time! Excellent workmanship, quality products, and dependable service.

Mesquite Landscaping is the best. They sent me pics before and after the job. No ones ever done that. And there pricing was given to me on the same day not 2 weeks later.

Mesquite Landscaping gave us lots of references of clients they have done jobs for. They gave a price on the same day they gave us an estimate. They handled the HOA and everything. We used them, and could not believe how fast and beatuful a job they did for us.

Mesquite landscaping totally redid our front yard for us. We were very satisfied with the results and appreciate that they are very professional and detail oriented. I would recommend Mesquite Landscaping to anyone looking to have work done.
