What a waste of my time. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30am to have my A/C re-charged. When I dropped off my car they told me it may not get done until tomorrow. They said "They were swamped". They said they don't work off of appointments.There are much more honest & trustworthy automotive shops out there, skip this one.
Beware!... of getting oil changed at Lawrence & Sons Car wash at Power & Ray Rd . I had oil & car wash done and had to take the car back due to a LEAK. 1st time I took it back - a young kid told me it was just spilled oil. Kid was nice, cleaned up the frame and said have a nice day. 2nd time - manager Michael said bolt wasn't tight, 3rd time Michael said it was wrong washer, 4th time Michael "fixed it" by using a bigger bolt to stop the leak from the stripped bolt (4 trips over the course of a week or more to try and stop the leak)....When I took the car into my real mechanic for unrelated issues (air conditioner - no fun in August in AZ) and he advised that the "oversized bolt" is a dirty little trick by scammers to "fix" the leak (ie: get away with stripping the bolt) and NOW MY OIL PAN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED (upwards of a $400 repair). When I called Michael to inform him that his "fix" did not actually fix it (and was now aware of his scam-repair-technique), he said he needed to call Phil the Owner. Michael then called me back & stated since the other shop had touched the vehicle it wasn't their problem. I reminded him that the mechanic had not actually touched anything but was calling to advise of the issue. When I mentioned the multiple negative reviews I had seen online, he hung up on me. Called back, hung up on me again and no one will provide actual owner's information....Luckily I have a great mechanic who is working with me on the repair, but DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED (OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER) HERE! Next day spoke with Kyle Lawrence Owners son & he claims they aren't responsible that it was probably my mechanic who caused the damage. Even though I had brought it to them 4 times to correct the problem? Have some ethics & be a responsible business owner.

I tried this walmart for a oil change, took both of my vehicles there same day. Both vehicles had no oil leaks before I took them there. When I got both home, I had oil spots under both of them. This is the second walmart I tried for oil change, had BAD experience at the one on market st in Gilbert first time. Apparently they don't know how to do a proper oil change here either. Went to my local repair shop, they redid the oil change and leaks were gone. I wasted time and money at both wal mart's for the last time. Do not risk damage to your vehicle by letting them work on it. I give this walmart a big 0 rating. Didn't bother wasting my time talking to store manager, because it went no where at the first Walmart. Go to a repair shop not walmart, I learned my lesson. They should give you a bag of kitty litter with every oil change, because you will need it for the oil drips on your driveway.
I took my truck there for oil change. When I drove there my ac was working fine. When I left there it was not working. Opened hood found ac wire unhooked, plugged it back in worked fine. 2 days later, seen oil dripping in drive way crawled under and noticed oil filter was over 1/3 unscrewed and oil coming from there. Notified store manager and nothing was done. Rip off place, don't let them work on you vehicle. Almost ruined my motor and tried to rip me off on a ac fix. I would give them lower than a 1 star rate if I could, beware of this place.
I used Earnhardt Auto Body to repair my Honda CRV. Afterwards, I started getting emails from Earnhardt Crysler Jeep. I called them & told them that I have NEVER used the Crysler dealer for an oil change. She connected me to the body shop. After being redirected to the service department, I was told the car needs the oil changed every 3,000 miles, which is a lie. Dealer says 6,500 miles.
I took my car in for an alignment and after I got it back it had a shimmy that wasn't there before the alignment. I took it back for them to look at. They called me and said that the rear alignment WAS off and they corrected it. Then they said my rotors were warped and that maybe it'd still be under warranty and take it to the dealer. (new car) Then the dude continues to say that my right back tire has a slit in it, not sure how deep but that it looks like it goes to the core and it needs replacing. He continues to tell me that the right front tire is so worn it needs replacing as well. He didn't have the exact tires in stock but had similar ones for $99/ea. And all he needs is a credit card and they'll "get her done!" I said no I don't have the money and I'll wait and take to my dealer and see about the rotors. When I picked up my car he was obviously irked and figured it was because he didn't get to up-sell me. Handed my keys and said "oh yeah, here's the paperwork for the new alignment!" No thank you, no smile nothing, I was obviously a bother. So today (8/29) I took my car to the Mazda dealer for its 10,000 checkup, alignment, have them look at my rotors and tires rotated. When I pick up my car it didn't need an alignment but the rotors needed replacing and they rotated the tires. I asked him, "how did the tires look?" He said "they are great! All good to go!" I'm horrified to have gotten such a BS story. I will never go back there again.
The positive reviews found on Yelp and Google must be by employees and friends. Stamps NAPA car center charged me $98 to diagnose my car after I was told there would be no fee to see what's wrong. I then called around to 3 different shops and every single shop cost less than half what Stamps was asking for the same repair. The next highest was the Nissan Dealership and it was $450 compared to Stamps $900. When I confronted Rusty at the shop he only lowered the price to $599. I had to pay $98 to get my car back with no work done to it at all. The only compensation I was offered was an apology because he looked up the wrong "labor" cost on the initial estimate. Steer clear from this place. How can they justify charging twice as much and then bait and hook you for a hundred dollar diagnostic fee when you want your car back? They are privately owned so NAPA, so getting help from the corporate office is difficult at best. .....................................................................................Update - I was contacted by the owner of Stamps. He was extremely professional and was determined to fix the situation. He gave me a full refund of the diagnostic fee and apologized for my experience.
I have taken a couple vehicles to Xpress and have had excellent service. Last time I went some lady was picketing the place. I asked what happened and I am more than satisfied with the owners answer. We shouldn't allow honest business people be bullied by someone trying to blackmail the business. I don't know the owner personally but I used to be a mechanic myself and I know they care deeply about their customers.
