This property has seen multiple restaurant failures over the past 6 years. We all know the drill: great location, yet the restaurant fails miserably.
I'm old enough to remember when this property was a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise (which actually had some pretty darn good chicken).
Then there was a (sort of) cajun type restaurant: horrible.
Mysterious fire (surprise, surprise).
Great high-rise sign (important, and a good decision by owner).
I continue to be astounded by the number of employees in this restaurant: many.
They are all courteous, patient and (best of all) friendly.
The menu needs someone who can accurately describe this restaurant's culinary delights. Mosa has the culinary talent NOT to be a curbside fast food joint. So don't make the menu seem so cheap.
Hire someone to describe the dishes sold in a way which (at least) encompasses how good they are.
This is a preliminary review. Details about each menu item will follow. Service: superb. Freshness: rare in Memphis. Menu: dull, but really, really well done! Should you visit: yes (Hunan Chicken on Special Rice is to die for).

Finally - somthing new, authentic, and refreshing to the Memphis restaurant scene. Mosa Asian Bistro is def'ly one a kind. They serve freshly made Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes - specializing in rice plates and noodle bowls. We've been there for lunch and dinner and noticed that at lunch, they're fast casual where you end up ordering up front and they bring the food to you. Then at night, it becomes full service and you waited on by their friendly staff.
We love food, especially food that's made fresh, tastes great, and has great value. Their menu prices are very fair considering that every order is made fresh, their portions are generous, not to mention the wonderful ambience and service you get. We highly recommend the Szechuan Rice Plate or if you're a noodlehead, try the Mosa Pad Thai.
