Feels like I am walking on sunshine every time I leave. The staff is great here and so are the docs

My friend was having back problems and told me about this place. Staff is friendly and everyone here smiles and makes me feel welcomed. I sleep better at night since I have been getting adjustments and my allergies have almost disappeared.

I love going to this place, the girls are so professional and nice at the front desk. The doctors keep their appointments and are never overbooked at all.

When I first came in a little over a year ago, I was facing back surgery. With the help of chiropractic and decompression in physical therapy all was avoided!! I now come in for monthly adjustments and feel like family. I absolutely love the staff here!

I have an upcoming appointment with this pain treatment clinic and reading the below ratings I am scared to death of going and feel very hopeless that they will even try to help me get out of the chronic pain that I suffer from in all my joints due to Chronic Lyme Disease and Systemic Lupus): My primary care provider will not prescribe any more pain meds because they say the have reached the maximum limit they can prescribe? I've never heard of such, anyway I am willing to try what they have to offer here and hope it helps but if they do not prescribe pain meds to those in chronic pain along with their other services they offer then are they truly a pain management clinic? I am NOT a drug seeker but I know how much pain I suffer from and as a former medical professional I know that pain is subjective and the healthcare provider is supposed to believe what the patient tells them their pain level is. All I can do is hope and pray that I have a better experience than the patients below. I truly feel sorry for those that have been mistreated and made to feel as if they are just wanting drugs. Those of us that suffer from chronic pain I'm sure can relate to being made feel that we are just exaggerating our pain in order to get meds which is SO far from the truth. I will continue to pray that one day I will find a compassionate provider who will work with me, believe in me and most importantly help me get relief from my chronic pain and get me to my highest level of functioning! By reading the other posts I have my doubts it will be here! I will post more after my appointment. Wish me luck.

Awful pain treatment center. I have Ankylosing spondylitis, and I hurt all of the time. The waiting room chairs are uncomfortable, and the wait times to see a nurse practitioner are on average 3 hours. That is the average, I have waited longer. What I dont get is that my appointment time was at 9AM. How do you get 3 hours behind in your work after being open for just 1 hour ?

You do not get to see a doctor, you see a nurse practitioner.

On your first visit they will not give you any medication.

I have worked with my past pain clinic for over 2 years to find the right combination of drugs that work for me. I have 36 months worth of medical records, test and results to back my claim of constant pain. I have been told that they do not wright prescriptions for the drugs that I was taking. No discussion of alternative medication. Just a lot of hype about how great back injections are.

If you truly are a pain treatment center, then why limit what medications you are willing to prescribe ?

I just moved to Memphis and have been going to my last pain treatment center for 2 years so I know the rules and regulations. The Cordova Pain treatment center is in the business of selling back injections. Unfortunately for me the do not last for long and prolonged use of them leads to scar tissue build up. They simply dont work for me. After I informed the nurse that I am more interested in physical therapy than injections she started arguing with me over it. Very rude. She could not explain how ;ower back injections are going to help with the rest of my back, neck, feet, hips and even my hands hurting constantly. When you entire skeletal system hurts, what good is lower back injections going to do me ? As for physical therapy, specifically Aqua Aerobics, she told me to check with my local YMCA. Then because I did not bring the EMPTY bottle of pain pills I received last visit she refused to write a refill. I get the need to make sure I am not selling my meds or overusing them, but please explain why you need to see the EMPTY bottle ? I ran out the day before, see could check and see that she wrote the prescription on the 18th, I filled it on the 19th and there I was in the office on the 20th. So after a 3:30 wait I went home empty handed and feeling very aggravated, hostile even.

I will be back Monday morning and we will see what happens then.

I have chronic pain, I was sent to this pseudo pain clinic. No doctor on staff just FNP. No bedside manner, treat you like a drug dealer or addict. Trust me if I weren't trying to get legitimate help I would spend 5/6 hours waiting for treatment. They don't even deserve one star. The staff are rude, the only way to receive medication for your pain is to subject yourself to painful shots that do not help and then they write you 15 tablets and tell you to take Tylenol. If Tylenol worked I wouldn't be there in the 1st place. They have no compassion and I cannot figure out how they got their jobs. Don't think I will have return it's like a torture chamber. It's just a bunch of chiropractors making money off insurance. They are cruel.

This place is horrible! I went here for 6 months for the DRX machine because I have a herniated disk. It has helped my back and created space between my discs but when it comes to the billing part of it they are idiots. They can set you up on a payment plan which is nice but what they don't tell you is how high your bill is getting or exactly how much the bill is. Everytime I have tried to get an exact amount to pay this off they say they can't give me an exact amount just a guess of what it is. Supposibly they are waiting to hear back from my insurance from 8 months ago which I don't believe at all I think they just telling me that so they can stretch this out longer and get me to pay more then I owe. I have never had an expierence like this where a business can't give me the exact amount that I owe them. Sometimes I owe $200 and the next time they may tell me it's $2000. This is why I no longer go to this place. If you like to waste your money away this is the place to go!
