CITIBANK DROPS THE BALL, I make my deposits through the ATM everyday. I depend on this service to keep my business going. In short, i made a deposit and made a withdraw. I have been with citibank for over 5 years. Today i set out to pay some bills only to learn that the bank took the check and mailed it back to me, I learned that i have to come in in person to a teller to make this deposit. THE POINT: WHY didnt they call me? And why have i been able to make my bank deposits at the ATM for over 5 years. This over site has caused great problems. This makes 6 times the bank has dropped the ball. Keep in mind that Citibank was bankrupt at one point and was given assistance. Wonder why. DON'T BANK WITH CITIBANK THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL. They could have called me and said"come in we have the check that you deposited" BUT NO they didn't do that, they mailed it back to me, now i will have to wait 6 days for the check only to take it back inn to re-deposit the check again. A SIMPLE PHONE CALL, WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PROFESSIONAL WAY TO GO. NO CALL. A WORD OF ADVISE DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. I make this rating after 5 bank mistakes NOT the first mistake.
