        WOW! Got a call from my colleg...

        WOW! Got a call from my college son at 4:10 pm on Friday saying he had a bad alternator. By the time I got home (Houston), I fired up Yellow Pages in Georgetown, it was 4:35. I found Georgetown Interstate Tran & Auto Repair and talked to them only to find out they closed at 5 and were closed on weekends. The man on the phone quickly let me know that if my son could get the car there by 5, he would personally stay until the work was done!



        He ordered 2 different alternators even before the car got there just to be sure he had the right one for the work and even gave me the price for each one. My son got there a few minutes after 5 (he called and gave them status), they put the car straight into the shop and were done right around 6. The total price was spot on and more than fair for a last minute job.



        I would recommend the shop to anyone in the Georgetown area for any service they provide.



        What a great can do attitude. They had a wet behind the ears19-year old and confirmed the diagnosis and did the repairs just as they told me on the phone.



        Take your car there, you are in more than good hands.
