(Somebody mentioned the drinks tasted weird which apparently was due to a lot of chlorine in the water. This issue was resolved a few years ago and they don't taste like that anymore) The Georgetown location is among the smaller of the Casa Olé restaurants but the food and staff are always great and super-friendly. I love Casa Olé and eat there whenever I can. ¡Especially great chips/salsa/queso!

Been there several times with my husband as well as my daughter and son-in-law and the food is always fantastic! Traditional Tex-Mex at it's best.
They have really good breakfast tacos! !!The serviceis always great and they make the best did in town
Horrible! I basically paid for the worse meal I have ever had. I honestly can't think of another time where I've had bad food. The food was flavorless, and had a bad taste to it. I was almost afraid it would make me sick. Needless to say I didn't finish my food. I tried to eat it by adding salt to see if it would taste better, but it was useless. I think the only thing ok were the chips, but not even the salsa was good. It tasted like they just opened a can of tomatoes and served it. I ordered an ice tea, and again disappointed, it was watered down and flavor it looked like tea but that was more like dirty water. Cleanliness was ok, but I wouldn't dare to use their bathroom. All I kept wondering was how m long have they been in business and how was it that they had customers. The waiter was very nice. That's probably the only pleasant experience out of that place!
Awful!!!!The place looks nice so we thought we would try it out. There was four of us and every order at the table was wrong. The service was horrible. Even the food at the next table was wrong. One of us never even got our food. When we complained to the manager he acted like we were a bother. The food we did get wasn't anything to come back for and after the service and the attitude of the manager we will not be back.
Plenty Of Fish has been meeting there by the river Wed evenings. All the remarks have been favorable. The folks that like extra spices only have to bring their own or request commonly used spices to get more. :)
My husband and I had the opportunity to dine at El Monumento and our dining experience was absolutely one of the very best! The staff were excellent, the restaurant is brand new and has an inner court yard that that is like an open plaza with plants and a water feature, just a quiet and relaxing dining atmosphere. There is also an outside patio which overlooks the San Gabriel river, then there is the inner restaurant. Soft lights, nice comfortable furniture. Now to the best part... The food... The food was some of the best I have ever eaten. The spices were not overpowering, but subtle and complimented the dish, instead of burning the pallet or overwhelming the taste buds. All in all one of the most enjoyable dining experiences around. I can highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!
The ambiance and service was fantastic, but the food was bland at best. It just lacked any flavor. Definitely not worth the price. If they got some new cooks or recipes, they'd have my business. My wife went there twice, and I've been once, and that will be it for a while.
The interior is very nice. The food was also good. A person needs to remember the food is interior Mexico, not tex-mex. I plan to be a regular customer.
