Capital Appliance came out in Dec of 2017 to look at clothes dryer. Parts were order and receive on Jan 4th 2018 and so I am still waiting. Paid a $100 deductible. They have refuse to return calls when you leave a message and now the voicemail stays full. It seems to me it is a scram going on because you cannot get any one to answer the phone any more. The parts was delivered to their business and my dryer still do not works. That is poor business relations and poor customer service. I have been waiting over 2 months and I got zip nothing. Now April is right around the corner.

Please BEWARE! Please BEWARE! I notified Capital Appliance Repair to repair my washing machine. Contacted them it took them 1 weeks to return my phone calls. Technician finally came to look at the appliance found out the issue and order the parts. After I wasn't contacted after 5/6 days, I call the technician he reference he forgot to order the part. I call talked to the Manager/Owner he was very disrespectful and hanged up the phone in my face. I return the called asking for a refund with the owner and repeatedly he was disrespectful and hang up the phone. I contacted my credit Card company told them the situation and immediately they stated (No Doubt) Mr. Jeff we'll refund your money.

If you are considering hiring Capital Appliance Repair to fix your appliance, BEWARE!I hired this company to fix my gas oven. They came out an attempted to fix my oven but did not have the right part. I paid them $286.67. They would order the part and install it. Two weeks past and I received a call that the part had to be special ordered and it would take 3 more weeks. I agreed.After 5 weeks I called the company . They told me that the part was not available any more. So, I asked for a refund. It would take 2 more week to process. My original check was cashed the day after I gave it to them. I waited for my check and when I contacted the manager, she told me that it was mailed to the wrong address. When I demanded to receive my refund, she offered to bring my money in cash. Again, they did not show up at the scheduled time.I called again and demanded my refund. They did not fix my oven. I had to purchase a new stove/oven.I directed them to send me my refund as a money order. They were told to scan the money order and email the picture of the money order to me before mailing the money order to me . I verified my mailing address with the manager several times. I received the scanned copy of the money order….that was 4 weeks ago
I hired this company to repair my ice maker/ freezer, didn't get cold. They are not on time, missed the whole appointment time slot, came 5 hours late. I paid 400 to repair. In 1 month water was leaking from my freezer. Called for them to come out. Again took 3 days to and 4 phone calls to get an appointment . Again the missed the appointment slot of 10am-12pm , they rescheduled till 3:30-5pm. Again they never showed up, I called at 5pm the lady said it was too late he will never make it to me . They finally came at 7:30 pm , to tell me he didn't have the tools to fix the freezer. And he has to come back another day??!!! Terrible . They came back the next day with 1 missed appointment again. Now 3 months later my freezer still is not working , no ice, and water leaking. Called for an appt, they never showed up. Now they said that they will it repair it because it is out of warrenty! I will put a reivew on all of there websites for the company because I paid $400 and still did not get my freezer fixed and they are not willing to repair it because it is 3 months watrebty that has passed. Well this would of been 3 times they came to fix so I do not think the warranty should be 3 months if they have had to time fix this one month after. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! THE ALSO go by another company name of CAPITAL APPLIANCE REPAIRS.
One given 1 star because required - shouldn't be a star at all! Said he made repair - never checked to see if fixed. Said he came out 2nd time to make repair, but cameras show otherwise. Still not fixed and now claiming it is a different part. Rip off. Don't waste your time.

Alvin is a total rip off! He was supposed to come out on a friday. He called and said he was running behind on a job and he would be there at lunch. He called at lunch and said he would call when he could come because he was still behind and had to make a bank drop. Alvin didn't show up till the next Monday! He looked at the door,said the door was the issue and charged me $165.00!! I paid because I was desperate and losing food. I gave the fridge a chance to cool. It never did. I called back to tell him that my box was still warm. He tried to make me think i called him about a door when i have the text messages to prove i called about a refridgerator not cooling and a leakage. He started arguing with me like i bothered him! The door was his diagnoses. He then had the nerve to say ilk come out and give you freeonne(without looking at the appliance no less) fir a whopping $125.00!!! This man is unprofessional and a rip off! Don't use him!
Alvin came out to service my appliance early in the morning. He didn't arrive on time. and didn't have the part with him so he had to go get it. He said that he would be back around lunch but didn't come to fix the unit until 6:30pm. This was entirely too long for the labor price that was paid. The parts was also very expensive. I noticed one part was about 40.00 from Lowes and the other part was 20.00 from Sears. For 1 hour of work and 1 hour of travel time $125.00 is way too expensive. The total repair was $225.00. Make sure you get all the information up front and you make sure you have a firm quote in hand before he starts working. Service was good and he fixed the problem but again way to expensive for such a simple repair.
