Lisa seems like a caring and charming individual who really cares about her patients. Except it's all for the show. As a guardian ad litem (GAL), Lisa very intentionally destroyed any and all level of trust between the parents, caused very long lasting emotional damage to the children, and to top it all, at the end, refused to return remainder retainer. She INSISTED that kids MUST be lied to. She conducts 3 hour interrogation of 12 year old kids in her office - intentionally scaring them, ..

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The vulnerable are often made more vulnerable because of social workers’ avoidable ignorance and/or lack of caring.Lisa do not know what science is and what it is not. As a client if I raised questions - we were often criticized as “confrontational”She does an excellent job at advertising and public relations to maintain status-quo, without the use of an related critical thinking skills that would require social work expertise. Not understanding science, she confuses this with authority, when science is antithetical to reliance on authority. Mistakes are inevitable both in science and in the helping professions. However, if a professional is authoritarian, “truth is vested in an authority. Thus, we have no idea what percentage of services offered represent pseudoscience and quackery.
Since Plumeria Counseling Center first opened in 2009, it has afforded cost-effective therapy to thousands of people in need, many of it even pro bono. Their therapists, as a group, have performed over 80,000 counseling sessions. So sad that only the disgruntled take a time to leave a review. 4 out of nearly 10,000 clients? Pretty amazing if you ask me. This place is a wonderful counseling clinic. Period.
This place is a straight up joke! If you're looking for professional objectivity when it comes to resolving conflicts within your family, this is not the place. If you are looking to pay some one to shoot the breeze, then go here. From the front desk secretaries to the "counselors", it's obvious they'll just say what they can to collect your money without any real thoughtful consideration to professional service.
Highly disappointed with this place. I had ONE appointment and while I liked the therapist, I woke up sick with a fever on the day of my next appointment and they said I'd have to pay $40 for a cancellation fee. Really? I didn't ask to get a fever or be sick? I told them to skip it altogether and I'd find another place in Austin. Not caring people here. Oh, did I mention no one ever told me about the cancellation fee either??????
She shows a rare combination of personalism and professionalism.
