Saying this is a 3 star hotel is generous. When we arrived into our room, we were disgusted. The microwave, coffee maker and fridge were filthy. There were bugs on the bed and flying around. I actually went back and asked for the manager to come to the room. Instead I was sent back to the room to only receive a call saying we were moving to another two floors up. I have never been so disgusted. All of the nice hotels were completely booked. I would have rather drove the 4 hrs home but my kids were crushed so we stayed. I regret that decision too. Neither room was that great. The second one was better than the first. The housekeeping barely spoke English so asking for towels was a task in itself. We completely wiped down the entire room. Didn't eat here. I couldn't imagine what the food would be like. Wifi was awful. It worked on and off. Forget about quite in the room. We were on the 6th floor just over the disgusting indoor pool (which we did not use because of the mess) and we could still here everything from those at the pool. I mean everything as if the window was open (it wasn't) and they were just outside the door. I would rather sleep outdoors than this.

This location is Great. Behind Parkway. Service was awful, rooms were NEVER cleaned. They never made the beds!
Visit here at least once a year. Love the pool, lazy river and free breakfast. Think rooms could be a little cleaner though.
One star you may ask?First, let me start with the positives. The location was right on the trolly stop at the end of the main street. The room was clean and the shower had great pressure. The pool was heated and well maintained. The fire pits were nice. They offered free coffee in the AM and lemonade from 4-7PM.Now for the negatives. This entire hotel does not have a single safe. No room safes and not even one behind the check-in desk. The entire hotel has one (yes, one microwave oven) for the entire hotel. If you wish to reheat dinner, you must take your entrée to the lobby in the room behind the front desk. The bathroom light was OUTSIDE the bathroom. The coffee maker in the room was for a single serving only. You would have to keep refilling and brewing coffee separately for everyone in your party. Now this is the deal breaker for me. I had to get my room card rekeyed OVER 30 TIMES! They kept blaming me that the key was not working. They said that it was my fault because I was keeping the card by my cell phone or going into shops. Who goes to Gatlinburg and doesn’t plan on going into shops? I thought that I was losing my mind until I overheard other guests complaining that their room cards didn’t work either. This was such a PAIN!!!!I am sticking with my one star rating.Bearskin no safe no one micro in lobby. No tissues by bed. Re keyed over 30 times. Kept blaming me. No carts in lobby. Fire pits and pool nice. Good location on trolly line. Bathroom light outside room. On cup coffee maker. No room or hotel safe.
it took forever to get someone to the office, which was locked. the tenant/owner was asleep (with open sign in window). she was rude and wouldn't give a refund after me banging on the door with her dog inside barking in the lobby for over 30 minutes. the room also had roaches and hair in the bathroom. not worth 90 a night.
My sons and I stayed with the Robert E Lee motel on our recent trip to Gatlinburg. When we arrived there was freshly baked cookies waiting for us in our very clean and comfortable room. Anything we needed they were happy to help with. I would recommend these people to anyone.
First of all they have the best!!! Beds, they are so confortable, I have had 8 back surgeries, and I am disables because of my back and the beds we had in our room. Number 109, was the most comfortable bed I have ever been on even asked what kind of beds they were, so I could buy one myself..lol, Second they will match any hotel.com price or any other price you find on the internet they will match, plus when I checked in I was able to get 40 off my orriginal price, Laurie gave me a discount when I checked in she is the best..The breakfast is average, but the pool and the rooms are just as fabulous than a 300 dol a night hotel in any 4 star hotel that you could find in Gatlinburg on the strip..The balcony you have is wonderful just to sit on at night when your trying to relax... I'm telling you the service when you check in, they treat you like your family and the pool they keep open all night, but you swim at your own risk, but no other hotel does that...I've stayed in alot of hotels their on the strip over the years and this one was the best..I don't know what else to say, but the rooms are phenominal..fire place big rooms and it gives you a true sortof cabin feel..i got my room for $52 a night. The staff, rooms, all the amenites and low price..you can't go wrong..you will love it..
