DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME! They instituted the "pet-friendly" policy after we made our reservation and before our arrival. Just felt like a major change like that obligates notification for reserved guests so they can make adjustments accordingly. Have nothing against furry friends but I don't want to sleep with them in my hotel room and bed. Plus what if we had severe allergies. Then we were indirectly informed by a letter sitting unobservably at the check-in counter and after we checked-in that oh, by the way, the total we emailed to you is off by $100, because we're also going to charge you a $25/night "incidental charge." Upon entering our room we found two bugs; both alive and 1 was in the bed. When we contacted the office to request a room change, they instead promptly sent a maintenance person to inform us that the bugs were "harmless". Not even a complimentary "sorry about that." Least to say we will NEVER come back here. And will make sure no one that knows us or anyone they know ever sets a foot or paw here! Then the Manager had the audacity to give me a left hand half response to my rate review in which she completely ignores the bugs or the pet friendly change and advises that the incidental charges will be refunded in about 7-10 business days. The Vista Grill restaurant attached the hotel is a joke. I mean you expect to be overcharged because its in the hotel so ultimately you're paying for the convenience of not having to go anywhere, but you also expect the food to be good. It was garbage. The only item that was decent were the flour-dipped deep fried fries, which I can make at home. I can't believe Hilton attached their name to this place. Its a disgrace.
A business that is working to silence conservatives, obviously. Every station on the tv worked but the sound was blocked on fox news. They suggested it was just my room...but I rented an adjoining room for the kids and same thing in that room. Will never stay here again.
As we arrived to the hotel there was a strong odor that smelled like stale feet, the rooma were very small, and to say the least. They never come to clean the room, hallway carpets were very dirty, only an apple, stale cereal, for breakfast. Worst stay ever and to pay $150.00 a night for two nights was not worth the stay. I would never advise anyone to stay there, its run by Arabians who speaks no English but is quick to take your money for a slum place to stay when youre trying to enjoy vacation.
We stayed here for one night after a long day of hiking in the park. Great price & great location - just a short walk to the main parkway. Rooms were very clean. Pool & hot tub / area were very clean, too. Staff was very friendly.
Hotel staff nice and efficient. Good location-walking distance to Conference Center and to downtown Gatlinburg.
I always enjoy my stay at the gatlinburg super 8 motel. Great location and no problems. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
On a recent trip to Gatlinburg we had booked 3 nights with the hotel, however my wife took sick and they refunded us the fee for the third night, which usually requires 48hrs notice. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is very close to downtown. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is headed for Gatlinburg.
We had a good stay here this past weekend. After reading some the reviews i was a bit hesitant but decidd to give them a try. Nice, clean room. Good price. Close to downtown and to a great breakfast resturant. Staff was very friendly. Really pleased with our stay.
Our stay was wonderful. In a good location, easy to get to. Our room was very nice. We would stay here again.
