The owner did not disclose all the fees at the time of booking. Owner also said there would be no cancellation period due to it being a week before our arrival date. So I was locked in because he had already charged my credit card. I do not recommend this 'establishment'.
My husband and I rented a cabin from Cabins for you last October. When we got there, the floors were so slick and dangerous that we both almost fell, myself more than him. When we booked the cabin, I repeatedly told them we needed something that was handicap accessible, which it wasn't. The pictures were beautiful and the cabin didn't live up to them. We also didn't appreciate the cleaning staff waiting in the driveway 30+ minutes before we checked out. I called a manager when we left but I don't know if anything was ever done. They definitely don't care about repeat business or making customers happy.
I stayed here for a week with my family in late April. We were very impressed with how detailed the Web site was and how quick/easy it was to book the property. (Some places didn't even reply). The two main bedrooms had attached bathrooms and king-size beds, which we particularly liked having. We also appreciated the mountain neighborhood that had abundant wildlife. We frequently saw pheasants, deer, and small elk on the road in front of the cabin - got some great photos! We'll definitely be back.
My family and I spent a week at this cabin in late July. We all had a fantastic time! It was clean, well-maintained, and the owner was very professional to deal with. We've decided to make this place our regular vacation rental whenever we visit Gatlinburg, which is often. It's a great value and is certainly better than staying at one of the cheesy hotels in the area!
After a positive experience at one of the owner's other properties, my family and I (7 total) booked this cabin in early December for a pre-holiday vacation. It was very quiet while being nearby to the "main drag" of Gatlinburg. We parked at the post office and grabbed a free trolley from there whenever we wanted to go downtown (where parking is always difficult and expensive).
I spent a week at this cabin in early May of 2015 with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and their two children. (We heard that you need to spend at least 5 nights in Gatlinburg to adequately experience everything the area has to offer). Needless to say, the kids really loved Dollywood and the Aquarium. We adults favored the great restaurants and shows. Of course, everyone loved the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and close to everything that we wanted to visit.
We have stayed here for decades and keep going back! It's not the ritz Carlton... But a great locally owned place that is very well maintained! The have hotel rooms, apartments, condos, cottages & chalets... Anything to suit your need! Many units are on the stream!
Perfect location! We walked to town and enjoyed tasting different wines and spirits handcrafted as we watched. There is a babbling brook out back with Rainbow Trout and we even saw a Moma Black Bear with her young Cubs. We will be back!!!
This was a great deal and made our family trip much more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again. The rooms were clean and the guest check in was pleasant. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite. The sound of the river was relaxing. The only thing I had an issue with was vending machines. There is a very small variety and one machine stole my money but that's all.
The location and value are amazing. Very close to downtown and still able to have peace if desired. The stream behind hotel is beautiful and allows for an amazing trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
