My husband and I rented a cabin from Cabins for you last October. When we got there, the floors were so slick and dangerous that we both almost fell, myself more than him. When we booked the cabin, I repeatedly told them we needed something that was handicap accessible, which it wasn't. The pictures were beautiful and the cabin didn't live up to them. We also didn't appreciate the cleaning staff waiting in the driveway 30+ minutes before we checked out. I called a manager when we left but I don't know if anything was ever done. They definitely don't care about repeat business or making customers happy.
We have stayed here for decades and keep going back! It's not the ritz Carlton... But a great locally owned place that is very well maintained! The …
Been staying in Gatlinburg for more the 40 years and this place provided the worst experience in all those years. The a/c didn't work and we informed them the 1st day. After explaining how much it would cost to have it checked on a Sunday and asking if I was sure there was a problem they reluctantly agreed to have it checked. No one ever showed. Had to clean the grill and add water to the hot-tub before use. Fans were nasty and windows had no screens, but had to utilize both to cool it down - dust in the air and bugs. Also killed about 50 bee's in the front bedroom. The worst of it - the attitude and sarcasm we got at check-out when we brought these issues up. That's all we got - no apology, no credit, no discouny....NOTHING. Never using these people agos
rented 4 chalets for wedding. Alpine helped with finding chalets close to each other, but 2 of the chalets were not cleaned well. floors and carpet dirty. not updated chalets. hot tubs in all four units did not work well. all beds were old and uncomfortable. we have been going to Gatlinburg for over 30 years first time renting from this company. will not rent from Alpine again, will go back to other rental companies.
Stayed here for our family summer vacation and had a blast! The ladies in the office were very helpful with directions and cabin suggestions. We stayed at Making Memories and the cabin was clean and appeared just like the pictures. Overall 10/10 rating, I'll be using Cabins For You next time we vacation to the Smoky Mountains.
At the beginning of the year I decided that it would be a great idea to take my entire family on a vacation. We looked at several places and finally decided to go to the Smoky Mountains. We stayed in a very nice large lodge that surprisingly had enough room for everyone (we have a very large family). Everything was clean and in working order. The only issue we had was with the coffee pot. The first day it seemed to not be working. We called the Cabins For You office and they brought us a new coffee pot right away. We are really looking forward to vacationing here again.
My husband and I stayed in a cabin this past spring and really enjoyed it. The cabin was up to date and was very clean. We talk about our trip all the time and look forward to the day when we can visit again.
Registering late, we were pleased to find accommodations over the July 4 holiday, choosing Ski View Condo #205. The ad promised a king size bed, a queen, a sleeper sofa, and Ethernet Internet. On arrival, we found a bonus: The sleeper sofa is an original La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, dating back 40 years, a piece of history. Seniority, sadly, does not enhance furniture as it does senators and union workers. This sofa may be OK for a small child, at least one you don't like, but "inadequate" is a term of charity for this old unit, with its missing springs and popping mattress coils. The Internet connectivity is a myth, too, and the queen bed is just a double. We reported the problems our first day and left a day early to get a decent bed before driving home. Diamond Mountain gave a pro-rated discount for the one day, but was otherwise parsimonious and unresponsive. Next visit, we will find a rental earlier. And not from Diamond Mountain.
We started going to Rhapsody Cottage (Cabin #9) at Prices Streamside Cottages in 1989. We go back to what we now consider "our cottage"" almost every year--we travel 1,200 miles one way to get there. The BEST part of our 25-year experience in Rhapsody Cottage is CONTINUITY. From our first visit to our most recent (May 2013) the Price family has maintained all the charm, quaintness, comfort and beauty of this sanctuary, while upgrading its basic amenities as needed. No glitz, no flimflam, no "here to day gone tomorrow," elements. Just solid peace, comfort and tranquility in a (literally) streamside setting that's unparalleled in our experience.
My daughter and I travel up to Gatlinburg 3-4 times a year to get away from the flat lands here in Orlando. I found Cobbly Nob rentals 4 years ago, and after my first stay there, I was hooked! There are a so many log cabins to choose from...almost all of them have an EXCEPTIONAL view, they offer privacy, most have hot tubs and jacuzzi tubs, some have pool tables and so forth, are fully furnished, and the staff are absolutely amazing! It's such a pleasant feeling to be treated as an individual with whom they value, and not another number at a mega resort. The cabins are extremely clean and well maintained. There are no hidden fees and no cleaning fees...this place redefines VALUE! The location is perfect...far enough out of downtown Gatlinburg to offer peace and quiet, but close enough that it only takes a 10 or so minute drive and your there! I can't say enough about this place....A+++ Go and see for yourself...you won't be disappointed!Justin T. BranekyBraneky Pest Prevention, Inc.Geneva,Fl
