Food is very good and service is very good, little small town restaurant but the service and salad bar are wonderful. Very clean and very well managed. I love the taco salad and the chicken fried steak....

Don't let the name fool you. If you're looking for a good steak this is not your place. Good salad bar and good chicken strips and fries though. Even after telling them the steaks were not good and could not be eaten, they had nothing to say other than, you can pay double! Not a good response to CUSTOMERS! They were not concerned at our dissatisfaction!

Nothing special here, but it's okay for a general menu restaurant. Steaks, sea food, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The salad bar is above average; we recommend you skip the loose rabbit food and go straight for the prepared salads (e.g., potato salad, green pea salad, etc.)



Clean and spacious with plenty of parking. No extra charge for the bawling, squalling kids at the next table.



Like almost everything in Gatesville and Coryell County, this place is a victim of the local church Nazis and, consequently, is dry as a proverbial bone, but they will let you bring in your own bottle.



Conveniently located next door to the Holiday Inn Express (best hotel in town).
