This place only thinks about making money and not the human race
My stepson attended the afterschool and summer programs at the center. I really wanted my husband to support a black-owned business and the lady I presumed to be the owner seemed very nice and informative upon our first tour the facility, but we never saw her again after the initial meeting or throughout my son’s attendance at the program. This facility seems more like a baby-sitting service, and granted, there are some great field trips and activities planned for the kids, the children were well fed, but it was my understanding that this program was outpatient-therapy based for children with mental health issues. We didn’t need a daycare for our son. We needed therapeutic services, but didn’t receive it. Honestly, the staff was initially very welcoming, but after questioning the purpose of the center since my stepson was not receiving treatment that was very much needed, it became a defensive-like approach from facility representatives. We never received direct answers. I hate to say it but it must be said: I feel that the financial benefits that Medicaid brings was the driving force for this business. So after suspicions arose about the legitimacy and integrity of this business, we promptly removed our son from the program. I am extremely disappointed to see the review from Sade below, one of the owners. How insensitive to suggest that a critic must need “help” and you have resources! That is so unprofessional and further proves that their motives can’t be honest.
