I have been waiting on my $200 deposit, from a rental car that I had 2 weeks ago. The manager told me that my deposit "may" have gotten lost in the mail. The corporate office is going to reissue the check, which will take another 7 to 10 business days...smh, they are full of it, and will never get my business again.
Great place to rent from- my only draw back was their return policy- I wanted to rent the van for one day a Saturday at 9am to Sunday at 9am and because they do not open til 1pm I was charged for two days rental. I didn't agree with that I was not in charge of their hours of operation and they might want to rethink that policy part. Otherwise great service and selection!
My experience was not good with this location in particular and with Enterprise in general. This location initially provided a very dirty car that smelled like an ashtray (mid-size). I was late for a meeting so I accepted the car. This was replaced the next day with an SUV upgrade that also smelled bad. I had to drive 45 minutes to this location because the Iocation closer to me did not want to change it. I accepted the second car and after driving it for two days I found out that my car will be in the shop for another 5 days. I had a longer trip coming up and needed a sedan so my wife can drive it. I offered to pay extra just to get another car and contacted multiple Enterprise agencies, but there was no way to get another car. I gave up after one more day and went to Hertz, payed extra and got a clean Camry that did not smell like smoke or like someone threw up in it. How hard is it to get a Camry from Enterprise if you already have a car from them? Impossible.
very friendly , but the car was dirty and smell of smoke , We tried for a week to get rid of the smell .

Rented a SUV for 3 weeks. The initial rental pickup was smooth. I was given a chance to accept multiple (optional) insurances. I declined all of them. When I picked up the SUV, the left rear tire was slightly low and on dash warning was letting me know that. I put air into the tire twice in the 1st few days and really thought nothing of it. Here is where it gets interesting...that same tire went totally flat at 10:00 PM. When I called the Enterprise 800# I was told that I was 100% responsible for the tire (because I declined coverage). It cost me about $100 in a hotel, about 3 hours on the phone with Enterprise arguing about who is responsible and an additional 3 1/2 hour wait at a Firestone shop the next morning. (MY AAA membership changed the tire and put on the spare tire) Enterprise and/or Firestone tried real hard to charge me for a new tire but I refused to sign anything. In my opinion, that tire should have been looked at when it was services between rental customers. I am glad the engine did not blow out. I will say the did a good job at keeping me calm and the employees at the GASTONIA, NC store were exception at understanding.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT rent from Avis/Budget especially from the New Hope RD location!!! Cory the manager there on New Hope RD Gastonia NC will damage your vehicle on purpose, He cut the strap for the tow hitch to make it work then assured us that we would not be charged for it but once we brought it back to the drop off location they debited us $400 for the damages he caused and REFUSES to refund our money for it! HIGHWAY ROBBERY and a perfect THIFE!!! I have proof and they WILL be shut down!!! This is SERIOUS people!!! Their motto is "We don't have to budget because we make sure to TAKE MORE FROM YOU than you budgeted" Pass this message along if you value your hard earned dollar!!
