Given the nature of the business, make sure what you are buying is what you want. They can't take returns of novelties or clothes back, BY LAW. It's a health hazard and just gross. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure to ask questions, the staff doesn't have any mind readers.
I have found this dealership to discriminate against women. Need proof...just listen to their latest ad eCARmony. "Easy on the eye and wallet and when I put my foot down she's ready to go".
Don't EVER BUY A CAR HERE!!!!! I was a loyal customer purchased 3 cars from Gastonia Nissan. I got a call that they were having an "amazing" trade in sale and my husband has wanted to get out of a car that I financed into his own car. My husband set a appointment to trade our car (a 2014 Nissan Sentra) that was solely in my name. His sales rep Freddie Johnston explained the car had $10,000 of negative equity after only a year of buying it!!!! Freddie's advice to my husband was to voluntarily repossess the car as his name is not on it at all and I could take it away from him and give it to someone else and buy his own car. They have a "credit repair" program they would sign me up for that could fix it in 90 days, really???? Wow we suggest people screw their spouses over for the benefit of buying a car????? I was upset that they were telling my husband to do this to me, so I called and asked for a manager, so the sales manager Jacques got on the phone and says ma'am your husband is a grown man and he can buy a car ig he wants too. Yes he can, however advising him to repose the car he currently has so he can buy are car from you is not the best idea. Where are these peoples morals???? He then began to try to belittle my intelligence and I had to get off the phone at this point!!! Welcome to car buying in 2016!!! Selling by any means necessary smh.... Watch out is all I can say!
I returned a vehicle after not getting any bank loan information and I was fed up with waiting and wondering whether or not I was approved for a loan. I told Brad Furby that I purchased a vehicle somewhere else and my loan was approved in 3 hours. He then starred that if he wanted to he will open an auto loan in my name and that I will have two auto loans on my credit. He also got up in my face. I contacted Gastonia police department. They starred that I should contact the sheriff and if Brad Furby does in fact open an auto loan in my name that criminal charges will be filed against him. I do not recommend. This guy has no respect for women or enough common sense to know that you cannot fraudulently open a loan in sometime else's name. He does have access to my ss# and address so that does concern me. If I see anything out of the ordinary in my credit report I will be pressing charges.
The service I received when purchasing my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek was outstanding. Chris Townsend was wonderful. He explained every detail. Car was full of gas, spit shined and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up. Chris went above and beyond what I expected in my salesperson. I drove two hours to buy from Tindol even though there is a dealership in my home town. I will always buy from Tindol Subaru from now on. My financing experience was exceptional as well! Very impressed with all of my service!
on 10/02/2014 I purchased a 2004 Honda civic I expect with a used car that at some point repairs will have to be made but i didn't expect to get it home and find problems the next day. when i let off the gas the car jerks and pulls, when starting from a stopped position it feels like its out of gear and struggles to get moving. If i was aware of these problems before hand i would not have wasted my money on this car and yes i did ask if there were any problems with the car that i should know about before i bought it i was told there were no problems with the vehicle. i feel like i was lied to i am very disappointed and will never give these crooks another dime.
Tindol Subaru was great! I just purchased my second Subaru through them (2015 Outback limited with eyesight). Chris Townsend was my salesperson and he was above par for sure. THe big thing was what they all did for me as a customer. I had someone hit me in my 2914 Outback limited and totaled the car,. The team at Tindol (everyone from Subaru Sales and Management to the body shop) bent over backwards to help me get through a very hard time and get my new car ordered and received, I just can't say what a great experience I have had with Tindol Subaru. I have my way I will be directing my wife to Chris to get a new CrossTrek when it comes her time for a new vehicle!* By the way... the yp needs to update their information. It lists Dodge and Honda as "Brands" under Business Details???
